That Time

The time was here, the son of the vampire king was going to inherit the throne. That meant they were going to have to gift him a girl as return of vampire soldiers protecting them. It was going to be a forced marriage so the marriage would be on paper and the first meeting of them would be after the marriage. This was a contract made a hundred years ago and it worked for both sides since the humans would get protection and the next son to inherit the throne would be different than a normal vampire. Even though the child wouldn't be pure it would be able to stay a lot longer without blood, it would be more muscly then skinny and wouldn't immediately turn into ash while in the sun.

The message came. The girl was selected and was going to be sent later in the week. Apparently she was having special training.

A maid stepped in the room and read the message to the vampire in the room sipping on wine. 'Don't act as if I care when she is going to come, read the message to my father he is the one going crazy over the topic of me marrying' the vampire said after a while. Even though his voice was very soft, you could feel the hatred in his voice. The maid bowed down and said ' Of course, Sir Damian' you could hear the fear in her voice even though she spoke in the most calm voice she could make, and left the room.
