Chapter Thirty One

"So Adrian, are you going to tell me where we are going for our honeymoon?" Munzi asked leaning on the head of Adrian's seat in one of their private jets.

"I know what you're trying to do and sweetheart, it won't work. I'm immune to you." He looked up to smile at her as she scoffed.

"As if. I don't know who you're trying to lie to. You can never get enough of all this beauty." She said moving her hand up and down her body to show what she meant.

"I also know what you're trying to do but it still won't work." He said smiling at her again as she pursed her lips and scrunched her forehead in disappointment knowing that he was right, again.

"But why can't you just tell me. I'm about to jump out the window from exasperation." She whined moving around to the seat next to him.

"I can see that and it's damn cute." He said holding her hips in his hands.

"But I've been waiting for a week now. How much longer?" She asked placing her hands on his shoulders.

"Just an hour longer sweetheart and I promise it'll be the happiest day of your life." He said taking her hands and kissing them.

"But the day I met you is already the best day of my life. So this will be the fourth best day of my life." She explained looking into the air.

"What? What's the third?" He asked turning her face to his.

"The day you came back to me." She said looking at her feet in sweet embarrassment.

"Okay then. It's a very beautiful place where our souls first met. Where we can reach your spirit." He said pulling her to sit in his laps.

"A place where our souls met? Adrian, I swear that if you are taking me to church for two weeks of my honeymoon, I will never forgive you." She said with an almost there glare, which he laughed at.

"You're so cute." He said chuckling.

"And scary and intimidating. You don't want to mess with me." She said putting on a serious face which led her to smile.

"Okay then godzilla, we aren't going to church. We are going to,no offence, a much better place." He said.

"Can you at least give me a hint? Just one will be enough." She begged giving her cutest face.

"Fine. It's a very cold place at night but hot during the day and has lots of water and the most beautiful clear night sky." He said and left her smiling. She understood what he meant. They were going to the plains of the savannah. They would be camping for their honeymoon and it was perfect.

"We are going to the Desert?" She asked smiling with tears in her eyes.

"Yes. And now the surprise is spoiled." He said looking down. He had really been eager to surprise her. She turned his face and kissed him on the lips. She then kissed him again and again.

"What was all those for?" He asked confused.

"Those were for you being the best husband and soulmate in the world. And there's no place I'd rather be than by your side." She said and kissed him again.

"Wait again, what did I do so that I can do it next time?" He asked making her laugh and throw her head back that she almost fell off.

"You just were you. That's what." She explained after steading herself on his shoulders.

"Just that?" He asked.

"Just that and now I can sleep happily for the next few minutes before we land." She said jumping from his lap and taking her own seat beside him. She sat and before he could say anything, was already asleep. He smiled at how fast she could sleep. But only because she was happy and exhausted. That's why, he had chosen the Desert, no network connection, so she would be free from her big chaotic life. She would rest and he would be there with her.

"Sir we have landed." The flight attendant told him, bringing him back to earth.

"Oh, thank you." He said. "Take the luggage out and bring it to the cabin."

"Alright sir. What about her?" He asked pointing to Munzi who was now snuggling with Adrian's arm.

"I'll take care of her." Adrian answered smiling at his wife.

"Alright sir. I'll get the bags." The attendant said walking out.

"My beautiful wife. What did I do to deserve you?" He asked before standing. Not having the heart to wake her up, he picked her up bridal style and watched as the slit in her dress made the fabric fall away exposing her legs. After admiring her legs, he remembered that there were other people outside. He covered her and got out of the jet.

"Daniel, set up the cabin and then you can leave." He said to Daniel, the other flight attendant before walking to the cabin.

"The door is open sir." Luke, the first attendant said.

"Thanks Luke. I'll take it from here." Adrian answered with a smile before carrying his wife to the cabin. After getting inside, he went left to the hallway and into the bedroom. There was only one which was convenient for him. He placed her on the bed and pulled the covers over her body. She looked so peaceful in her slumber. Like a gentle wind blowing in the evening. After staring at her sleep like a creep, he finally left her hesitantly. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, they would need to eat and he was a pro in the kitchen since he had met her. So he got up and went to the kitchen. It was fully equipped and packed with all the ingredients he would need to make her favorite dish.

"Now all I need is some music since I already have so much love." He said and laughed at his cheesiness but couldn't care less since that was what love did to him and he wouldn't change it for the world. After connecting his phone to the speaker via bluetooth, he put on her favorite playlist by Ed Sheeran. He also learned to enjoy it after being with her. And as a bonus, the music would reach to her in her dreams and sooth her.

He stopped to sing unable to multitask. And then laughed at himself when he imagined how she would react if she were to find him like that. He then laughed again when he pictured her trying to scolde him and then ending up laughing because it was all just so funny. He then laughed again in happiness when he resolved that he had made the right decision when he decided to come back and take a chance on them again.

"Bless the sun, the moon and the stars for giving me this immeasurable gift." He said looking at the moon shining outside. And then laughed again because he was becoming so much like Munzi who would often be caught just staring outside talking to herself and the moon and stars. But once again, he didn't mind since he got a feeling bigger than love just from knowing her. And he would keep doing yoga and pilates with her every morning because anything done with her was worth it. So finally, after about an hour of just being lost in himself, he started making coated eggs and tuna balls for her. He didn't need to make her any soup since she said that saliva was there for a reason and there was no need to drown sweet food in unnecessary water. And he laughed again because damn! He loved this woman and he would continue to do so until the end of time and beyond.
