The Horizon's Chief Officer

The Horizon was the most well-known stealth corvette in the military. Commandeered by Ilya Petrov, its highly trained and lethal crew was responsible for carrying out special and covert operations deemed of the highest priority. As far as Ji-ho was aware, the Horizon, in addition to seven other heavy warships, had been tasked with eliminating xenomorphs in the outer colonies.

These grotesque six-limbed aliens were like the parasites of space and their numbers just kept increasing no matter how many were killed. For now, they weren't showing any designs of seriously taking over the human sector of space but the situation was expected to change in the future.

Docked at Gaia, the crew of the Horizon waited to pick up their new recruit, a freshly minted navigator who had no experience to speak of. What was commander Ilya thinking? Of course, no one said it aloud but they all had the same thoughts. Something strange was going on and they didn't like it one bit.
