"There's going to be a lot of soap bought to clean up all this blood on the street." Abigail hooked her hand in Xavier's one to calm him down before he might blow a fuse. As much fun as it was to see him defend her, they had somewhere important to go. "We're going to be late to a meeting you set up. I don't want to give off a bad first impression."
She pulled Xavier away from the dead man before he could stomp his head again but stopped to look at another hunter who was watching them. "You there, I know you. Follow us right away," she pointed to a man amongst the group who she recognized to be the team leader. A hunter also needed to be at the table to represent their organization. "If only we could get the mayor there too. Where is this meeting set up again?"
"You'll see," Xavier replied, fixing up his appearance.
The three of them kept walking for ten minutes until they stumbled across the city hall.
