I Want To Tell You Something

Francesco slung his bag over his shoulder and stared at his reflection once again at the mirror. Once he was satisfied with his look, he raced out of his room and trotted down the stairs leading to the exit of his father's mansion.

He looked around and everywhere was a mess, dinosaur toys littered here and there, voices of kids grabbed his attention and pulled him away from the exit door. Francesco followed the voices and found himself staring at three kids making deal with their toys.

"Brother Francesco!" the older one screamed in excitement drawing the two younger ones away from their toys.

"Have you come to join us brother?" the last asked, his eyes shone in excitement.

Francesco stared blankly at the three, they were his step siblings but he never wanted anything to do with them. He shut the door lightly and could hear the disappointment in their voices. He didn't care and he would never care.

Francesco took a deep breath then headed out, he decided to drive himself to school since his driver wasn't going to be present for the day. He got in and sped off.

Stefano was in distress, he kicked his cupboard multiple times and paced around his room like an impatient dog. His mother's health was deteriorating quickly to the point that she couldn't speak anymore. The doctors were in her room trying their possible best to find out what went wrong.

Stefano collapsed on his bed and stared at his ceiling, his thoughts were a mess. All he wanted to do was to catch the bastard that caused it, all he wanted to do was to squeeze the life out of Aldo. If Aldo hadn't stolen his father's money then his mother wouldn't be in the state she was in right now.

He got up from his bed, a new wave of hatred washed through him and then his mind travelled to Isabella, he was going to use her to crush her father. Daughter turning against the father.

Stefano gathered up his strength and prepared for school, all he needed to do was to act as a friend, gain her trust and then everything would be set. He heard a knock on his door and attended to it.

"Hey little bro!" an average height lady stood in front of Stefano, she was beautiful, young and looked smart.

"Cassandra" Stefano hugged her lightly.

"It's so good to see you" she said and disengaged from the hug.

"You too".

"C'mon papa sent for you" she smiled, but it wasn't a smile that reached her eyes. Everyone felt the impact of what was going on, that's why Cassandra came down to Milan, all the way from Paris, he was sure his older siblings were present.

"Okay, give me a few minutes" he nodded. Stefano put on his uniform immediately after his sister left then packed his books into his bag and rolled out of his room.

The aura around the sitting room was grievous, Stefano couldn't stand it, he wanted to be out of there in the next one minute. Like he knew, his older siblings were present. Alessandro and Cassandra sat on the same sofa, while he and Mia, his elder sister sat on the same.

His father sat at the far end, faraway from everyone, Stefano knew it was going to be hard for his dad.

"Buongiorno everyone" Alessandro greeted "Uh dad would like to tell us all something" he stated as all eyes shifted to their father.

Pedro adjusted in his seat and cleared his throat, words were difficult to form in his mouth, he couldn't bring himself to speak out loud.

"I called you all here for a specific reason and I know you know why" he paused to glance at everyone present then continued.

"Your mom hasn't been doing quite well for some years now and the doctor advised for her to undergo a surgery to prevent further deterioration of her health".

"Surgery?" Stefano asked surprisingly inquisitive.

"Yes" his father nodded.

The room became quiet as everyone was deep in their thought, each person sinking in the new information, coming to terms with it.

"That'll be all for now" he dismissed them, he was the first person to leave, his footsteps were slow and heavy.

Stefano stood up and sighed deeply, Alessandro stood up after him.

"I'll drive you to school" Alessandro said.

"No. I can drive myself" Stefano rejected and walked to the door.

"Meet me outside" Alessandro commanded walking towards Stefano, he stepped out through the door before Stef did.

"Ah, you've got to be kidding me" Stef sighed in frustration and followed his brother.

The drive was a slow and silent one which Stefano hated.

"Could you double up your speed?" he requested.

"Stay quiet".

"Sure knew you were gonna say that" Stefano eyed his brother and leaned his head on the headrest.

The car finally screeched to a halt once they got to school.

"Thanks for the boring ride brother" he feigned a smile.

"Don't think too much about mom" Alessandro said with concern.

"Goodbye" Stefano got out of the car and jammed the door close. Alessandro stared at his brother as he began to slowly disappear from his view and blend in with the clustered students, before he finally drove off.

Stefano wobbled into the library, no one was in there, not even the librarian. He grabbed a chair and sat down, part of him wanted to fling the chair away and destroy everything he could see, but he withheld himself from doing so. Stefano banged his head repeatedly on one of the shelves.

"Arrgh!!" he groaned in pain and covered his face with his palm.

The weight of his mom's sickness hit him with full force, it really did take a toll on him and to now think that she was to undergo a surgery worsened the situation.

The library door slid open, Stefano angled his head to the direction and saw Bella walk in alone. Hatred began to surge through him, it was all because of her father. Stefano studied her for awhile, she didn't notice that someone was in the library so he stood up.

Isabella dropped her bag down on the chair when she noticed Stefano walking towards her, she was caught by surprise and tried to utter a word but couldn't. His big, firm masculine hand had already grasped her fragile wrist.

"Hey let me go!" she struggled with him but he only tightened his grip.

"If you don't then I'll scream" she threatened.

Stefano covered her mouth with his palms "Go ahead and scream then" he smiled cunningly.

"I kill you!" she said through her muffled voice.

"You say what?" he asked mischievously enjoying every moment of it.

Isabella began to struggle but all was futile. Stef smiled to himself and pinned her to the wall, her amber eyes stared daggers at him.

"I want to tell you something".
