Chapter 14
The three of them spun around to see standing at the only open end of the hallway were three vampires in suits, staring them down. The front one stepped forward slightly and smirked, “You’re good, you could hear us long before we heard you. But you’re very young Nymia, and you don’t know how to use your magic to mask your presence yet.”
Nymia stepped forward and cracked her knuckles, her fangs elongating, ready for a fight. “I’ll remember to learn that once we get out of here.”
The man in the suit laughed as a blade long enough to be from a sword slid out of his sleeve and stayed in place, as if it was attached to his arm. He pointed it up towards them and said “If you get out of here, more like it.” The other two vampires produce similar weapons and step forward as well.
