Chapter 5 Date a death

( Extra chapter if I see 100+ power stones in my fanfic.)

(Due to the absolute lack of response, I decided to go to 1975.)

"You are going to give me that metal. I have to admit it even in Asgard there is only one ingot and it is inside Odin's personal vault. And the other one I remember is in Mjolnir. But why would I need it I already have Nightsword." She although tempted decided to not show it.

Looks like she doesn't know I have a nearly unlimited supply of Netherite but considering there is only me who has access to Netherite it was not surprising.

I summoned a little sculpture of Hela made of Netherite which I made with my creation divinity and said "Do you know aside from being a weapon or armor Netherite can also negate negative effects like," After a bit of pause I leaned forward and threw the sculpture at her which disappeared in black mist and appeared in front of her which she took in her hand elegantly, but her eyes were on me. "Corruption." Her eyes widened at that.

She must have been surprised as no one was supposed to know that and I would have missed it if not for my eyes.

Looking at the black energy that was now being absorbed by the sculpture I smiled internally.

She looked at me and asked "What do you want from me? Nothing is free in the world. I don't think I have anything of value for you to give me this." She paused and said, "Unless you want me to revive someone from the dead or do you want me?" The latter was correct unknown to her, she intended to tease me with it, and my response.

"I want you to become my wife." This is my bad trait, unique women were my weakness, and Hela was one. Though there are certain criteria for you to be a unique woman in my preference.

Hela didn't expect that coming judging by her stunned appearance which was the first time in our whole conversation she lost her composure this much.

"This not a topic to joke Herobrine." She looked at me expecting me to say I was joking.

But after a lack of response, she crossed her arms over her modest-ahem chest she said: "Although I am the oldest of my siblings and strongest among them, Odin will not make me ruler of Asgard so you stop hoping it and do you really think I will sell myself for a piece of metal." She looked displeased.

"No, I just gave the metal to you so that you can overcome the corruption and become strong. From starting the proposal I was talking about is, you becoming my wife it is not related to metal or anything like that." Before she could speak I continued "And no, I don't need this small realm of yours. I am purely interested in you Hela. And you are not the oldest of Odin's children." I said directly looking at her eyes.

Hela looked satisfied but didn't agree and said "But still why do you think I will marry you? I don't lack suitors who will lick my shoes and role like dogs when I say." She really is delusional.

I burst into laughter as if I had heard the biggest joke of my life. Between my laughter, I managed to say, "Hela... haha... Do you really think that in Asgard, when some children can't sleep, they use your name to threaten them to sleep? And most of them still retain their fear towards you." I continued, "And I don't believe you'll settle with some weakling unless there are certain exceptions."

Hela looked displeased with my comments, but she knew they were true. Without her death energy, even she would have thought of herself as a Goddess of Fear.

"But why would you be interested in me? We just met, and there is no attraction between us. I don't want to be like those Olympians." I could understand her concerns and my interest in her. I couldn't say that it was because she was a waifu, could I?

"We can take our time to develop our feelings. I'm not proposing immediate marriage. If you're worried about being like the Olympians, you should know how much I detest most of them." I suggested we start with a dating plan.

She had a look of confusion for a moment but said "I will think about it." Nkt giving a definite answer.

"Okay, now I think I should go. Bye." I appeared beside her giving a kiss on her undead cheek and then disappeared too fast for her to react.

After I went away.

Hela was sitting, lost in thought when she was suddenly kissed. She felt her face redden with embarrassment, but her mood quickly turned to annoyance when she noticed two additional Netherite ingots on the table in front of her. Despite this, she was also pleased to see a bottle she didn't recognize, containing some sort of strange liquid.

As she examined her new items, she found a note that read: "Merge one ingot with Nightsword. You can do whatever you want with the others, and the bottle will help with the second. By the way, the sculpture was a gift."
