In 20xx, in an orphanage there was a boy who wanted a hero from a children's storybook given by the orphanage, he wanted to be one of these heroes. Be an extraordinary figure among ordinary people.

But adults don't take it seriously because it's just fantasy, they think the older the child, the boy will understand that fantasy cannot be brought into the real world.

No one told him and allowed him too self-conscious about his fantasy.

On certain days the caregiver from the orphanage where the child lives conducts a study tour to historical sites which are very sacred places for certain people and not only to historical sites, and they will also visit amusement parks. Other children are happy when they are invited to have fun -happy and gloomy when invited to historical sites but it's inversely proportional to the boys who yearn for a Hero figure.

What made the boy excited was not an amusement park but a historical site. His behavior was somewhat strange, but considering that the boy was crazy about heroes, he just ignored it. After all, he was still an innocent child.

While the other children wanted to quickly leave the site, the boy was even fascinated by the hero statue on the site and looked at the statue for a very long time, without realizing that his group had left him alone.

As a child, of course, he panicked and cried along the way looking for his missing group, but there was a blond man with bright blue eyes calming the boy down and bringing him to a park bench.

The man chatted to calm the boy, and when he managed to calm down, it was seen that the man's gaze was fixed on a book that the boy was holding tightly.

The title of the book is "Hero Stroy"

"Kid, do you like Hero?" Asked the man with a friendly smile.

"Sniff" Because he had just finished crying so he could only nod, seeing that the man was listening to the boy's story, and also replied by telling him something related to the Hero.

The boy was immediately amazed, seen from the sparkle in his eyes that seemed to have stars to the story of the mysterious man.

"Waah!, it's true that the Hero is extraordinary. And I want to be one of them!" The boy said excitedly again.

The man giggled at the 7-year-old boy's behavior. Then the man suddenly changed his friendly expression to a serious one while taking out a ring from his pocket. The mysterious man asked the boy back, "Do you want to be the hero?" asked like that, and sure enough, the innocent boy answered enthusiastically.

"YES!"

From there, the mysterious man gave something in the form of a ring with a symbol engraved Ω after giving the ring he spoke again "Promise me, that you will not give up on your wish" with eyes full of trust he stared at the innocent boy, as the boy's response was nodding while answering.

"Yes, heroes often experience difficulties but never give up until the end! and so do I!" eagerly answered. The man smiled happily at the innocent boy's answer and then unconsciously disappeared when the innocent boy turned his eyes briefly in a different direction, like an illusion but real because the ring the man had given him was already attached to the boy's ring finger.

Not long after the boy was confused by the disappearance of the man with him earlier, the caretaker found him. Long story short the boy was brought back into the group and continued their tour.

Along the way, the boy kept thinking about the mysterious man who helped him at the historical site earlier. And the reason why he gave this ring to him, he was sure that their meeting was not an illusion because the guide and other children realized the ring he was wearing. after trying to talk nicely to the nanny to tell the boy to give the ring to her, because of an orphanage rule and also as a safeguard sees the ring brought by the boy was made of gold. but the boy kept refusing and in the end, the nanny gave up. let him keep the ring, and forgot about the matter afterward.

<Several years later>

In the morning, it was a cheap apartment on the outskirts of Kuoh. One of the residents of the apartment was a student from a prestigious academy in the current city of Kuoh.

Kuoh Academy, which was just two years ago, changed from an all-girls academy to a mixed academy, because it is so prestigious that there is a lot of interest even abroad.

The boy who dreamed of becoming a Hero is now a teenager a man who is in shape because of his ideals and also a promise he made to a mysterious man in his childhood.

In a cramped room, he was doing push-ups, the last movement of the workout he was doing.

"98,99,100!" He muttered counting how many times he did push-ups, when he reached the target he fell to the floor and turned around in a supine position.

Staring at the roof out of breath, body full of sweat even the tatami was wet from his sweat. Not long after that, the alarm rang.

When he looked at the clock, it was already 7 and he only had half an hour to get ready. He stood up tiredly grabbed a towel and went to the bathroom to prepare for the academy.

In short. when he finished packing and locked the cheap apartment. going down the stairs that creaked when stepped on, when he was on the street he looked again at the remaining time on his watch.

"There are still 10 more minutes before the gate closes" muttered the teenager when he was about to lower his hand. At first glance, he saw a gold-colored ring attached to his ring finger. Unknowingly recalled the promise he made to the mysterious man.

"I still have a long way to go" He muttered again, before finally lowering his hand and finally running to catch up with time towards Kuoh academy.
