Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. His Resolve

Three days. For the next three days after the truth came out, Levi said nothing. Aside from the initial heart-wrenching scream and wails, he stayed silent.

Jasmine walked on an eggshell around him. The good news was that he wasn't starving himself. He would wake up every day and join her at the table as though nothing happened.

He would then disappear until lunch and then reappear again for dinner. She didn't need to talk to him to know that he had been insomniac.

On the fourth day, things seemed a little different. Levi walked through the door

and joined Jasmine at the Kitchen counter. He sat beside her and watched the girl busy herself.

Levi felt a little guilty. Although he didn't yell at her or accuse her of anything, he still punished her through his silence. Perhaps it would have been better if he scolded her or said something.
