Her Reasons

Jasmine woke up a few hours later when the sun was about to set. She had slept almost the entire day. Her head ached from the emotional burden she has shed in the morning. As she turned around to make herself more comfortable, she fell in the open awaiting arms of a handsome man.

The girl's emerald orbs glowed with a gentle fondness as her lips stretched into a rare smile. He was always there for her. Jasmine felt a strange warmth encase her bleeding heart. It didn't heal the wounds she felt. Rather, it soothed it like the gentle touch of a feather.

Her fingers twitched to touch his face. How long has he been in bed with her? She wasn't sure. She looked up and glanced around her room which look neat. It was as though she didn't go on a destroying spree. The last thing she recalled was her curled up on the floor as sleep overtook her senses due to the mental fatigue she felt.
