The silence in the room was too loud for Leonardo. He was a man of few words but full of wisdom.
In the corner of the room, sat Rhea looking gloomy. She had yet to get over the disrespect her children have shown her.
She was livid, to say the least. She liked being in control at all times. Today, she wasn't in control. It was all that girl's fault.
She was a beauty. She could give her that. But aside from her face, what else does she have? An orphan girl with no background whatsoever!
Where would she put her face if her son ends up marrying such a woman? She wouldn't have any of it. He would have to do that over her dead body.
She sighed again for the umpteenth time. Leonardo placed the papers in his hands away and walked toward the couch where his wife sat.
" What is it, love? Why are you in such a bad mood?" He asked though he already had an answer.
