Happily Ever After

A heavily pregnant figure stood on the balcony looking down at the gardens. Though the view was magnificent, she wasn't exactly seeing it.

She was deep in thoughts. Jasmine's hand rested on her stomach unconsciously. A lot of things have happened in her life.

Yet the peace she has been experiencing seems so unusual to her. Her life has been anything but peaceful since she could remember.

She so happened to be among those who fell prey to the bullies. Even so, she never lost her innocence. She learnt to live with it.

Then she grew up and was finally free. Or so she had thought. No one told her that what she experienced in the orphanage wasn't even a scratch.
