Hellbound With The Cold Alpha

"I might look drunk, Your Highness," she gulped. "But I'm not. This is my first and last warning to you. If you don't stay away from me, I will surely destroy you and your people." "Are you sure?" His gray eye interlocked into hers. Hazel rolled her eyes and held the hem of her dress so that she wouldn't trip. She could barely see now, especially with the aid of that terrible headache raking her skull. However, just a slight error and she wobbled all over him. His grip was held tightly to her waist but she pushed him away from her as she said, "Husband, you mistake lust for love. This is a warning, you will regret this." "Wife, there is a lot you need to learn from me. Like knowing how to tell a lie. Nevertheless, I shall give you another two weeks to take an act of revenge on me, if you don't succeed, I won't hesitate to make you mine even against your wish. If you do succeed, I am happy to die in your hands." He continued, whispering along her earlobe since he knew she would be unaware of what they had discussed the next morning, "It is like killing two birds with a stone, I will be able to fulfill my promise about keeping you away from evils. You would be able to protect yourself against me." As he said those words, he clenched his jaw. "It's funny how I am the evil you need to hide from, the one who has and will hurt you the most." *** HAZEL COLESHILL, a 22-year-old vampiress who had a very terrifying past with a werewolf, pledged to protect her clan by sacrificing herself to the werewolves as part of a truce. "Possessing your shadow in the walls is really helpful. Shadows are meant to be the most vigorous reflections. They attack your enemy if you can control them and then hide back in the walls. They break walls and are extremely powerful." Hazel sighed softly before she said, "Let's go back to the last one. Possessing beings just by staring at them in the eyes." "Have you heard about the rule majorly known among humans?" "What rule?" "The rule about," she raised her two index fingers up and then curled them, signaling a quote. "The rule about not looking into a vampire's eyes?" Hazel shook her head. "The rule about vampires possessing humans when the humans stare at them is as old as the mountains, however, it can also be said to be a superstition but it is not a superstition for some special ones among us." Fannie looked at Hazel intently before saying, "Someone like you, Lady Coleshill. You have the ability to possess beings just by staring at them Warning: Mature Content, Sexual Content and Heavy Fantasy.

Plain And Dumb

At last, they stopped at a metal door. Hazel could barely do anything to help herself so all that she put in her mind was to at least, survive this night.

She stared at the two guards that were at the sides of the dungeon's entrance. For some reason, they were not fully clothed, their clothes only wrapped around their left shoulder and then down to their waist, leaving their limbs and every other part of their body open.

Hazel could only wonder what this meant or why they were dressed this way. She had not seen other guards in the palace dress like this.

The door creaked open and this bleeding man continuously dragged her hair and pulled her inside the dungeon with a renewed force, far different from all that he had been using.

She ignored the pain and humiliation and focused instead on the new room she had found herself in.

The first thing her eyes set on was the rough ground which was plastered with different types of blood. Her nose took in the smell of dead rats, the smell was too toxic that despite her cuff hands, she tightened the lobes of her nose.

Looking ahead her was a prisoned man like her, he was hanged on a metal surface with his two hands separated and each nailed to the right and left side of the iron.

The sides on which his hands were hammered were cemented walls, the sides were lower than where his back was resting and Hazel could only imagine how uncomfortable he was feeling.

She looked sideways, a young girl with brown short hair was sitting at one side, she looked unkempt and tiny that one could mistake her as a dead body rotting off its flesh.

And another gaze at the entire small dungeon, she saw no one else.

The man walked further into the dungeon, as their feet were giving splatter sounds, her heart was almost ripping out from her ribcage when the fact that whatever she had been stepping on could be blood.

All these people in the dungeon did not look like vampires or werewolves, and all that she could see looking closely at her were humans.

No!

She could not stay with them in this dungeon.

As if he had read her thoughts, he stopped grabbing her hair and forced her to look at him. "If you don't want to stay here with these humans, I can as well as take you to another dungeon."

To another dungeon? Where there would not be humans? Did he mean that there could be imprisoned werewolves in the dungeon that he would take her to? Or no one in particular?

She only shook her head and then he gave out a tight smile. "I was hoping you choose the other choice but unfortunately you did not."

Hazel tried her best not to look at his face because whenever she set her eyes on him, there was this invisible rage that boomed across her chest and heavied her down as if she was carrying a log of wood on her chest.

"This is not the dungeon I am taking you to. I need you to first understand what others are facing in a lot of different dungeons. Thanks to being lenient in the first place, the alpha demands you a less torturing dungeon."

"The alpha?" She had no idea when those words came out of her mouth. Still, now, she had not seen him. The wicked crown prince.

She had wanted to know whoever had decided that she was sacrificed the other time but then the guards were pushing her head to the ground while rewarding her with several beatings.

All that she could hear from him were his metallic voice and other tiny words in her head that always told her not to be close to him because he was a psychopath and could hurt someone most severely.

He was cruel, violent, and all the evil that they thought of.

She wondered how someone could be this vicious.

Perhaps, they were only exaggerating, she could not say but she knew all those things they were telling her were something she did not need.

Why should she be close to him to the extent that she would trust him?

She was here for something and she would do all in her might to fulfill it. She would never betray her clan. That was never!

"Yes, the alpha is a very kind one." He said but then paused, "that is why he needs someone like me to correct him most of the time."

Hazel looked at the man called Ethan and her gaze went back to the two prisoners.

The young girl was lying on the floor almost breathlessly. Her eyes slowly opened up as she sensed the new prisoner was staring at her. She looked downwards again and grunted.

Hazel's patheticness appeared like a thunderstorm, she tried walking towards her but then she was stopped by the beta. "You might get bitten by them."

What?

Did he not say that they were humans?

Hazel's eyes stared at both of them, and all that came to her mind was the fact that these people were vampires, they could be. She could not say but she wondered how the werewolves already have their kind in their palms while killing them and asking for another.

That is pure cheating!

But then, when she thought more about it, she found whatever the man was saying to be useless.

She was a vampire, there was no way they would bite her and then suck her blood even though they were not of the same clan. Did he mean that they were werewolves?

She looked at him again and as if the beta had already heard her thought he said, "Yes you are right. They are werewolves."

She had heard that the werewolves couldn't be easily captured except if they nailed them to the wall.

And again, just as if he had heard her say those words in her mind, he answered, "They are poisoned."

Hazel's mouth remained open and she slowly close them back. How could one be so heartless to the extent that they poison their kind?

"You must be thinking that I am heartless. I am not. At least, the alpha is kinder than I am."

Hazel tried to understand what he meant but then she couldn't. But she had no idea why she had begun to think that werewolves can hear the vampire's thoughts. Perhaps, it was a reason it was not easy to fight against them but then, the same man added again,

"Do not think I read your mind, you are just plain and dumb for me not to figure out through your expressions. I wonder how you will survive when the alpha decides to take you to his private dungeon. He seems to be cruelly interested in you."
