"Sorry, son, what did you say earlier that I didn't hear?" Maia asked Hector to repeat what he said earlier.
Hector went towards the dining table and then took mineral water for his mother.
He handed the mineral water to his mother's right hand so that she would drink it.
Maia took the mineral water that Hector offered her and then drank it like a thirsty person.
"What time is it now, son?" he asked Hector again while looking at the balcony which looked dark.
Maia still looked helpless, wanting to close her eyes and hug the bolster on the soft mattress. As if she still didn't realize it, Maia was silent for a moment while gathering her soul.
"Seven o'clock in the evening now, ma'am; I also can't find Helena; she hasn't been there, ma'am, since I woke up!" he exclaimed in answer to his mother's question while telling her that Helena was not in the room.
