First Sight Or Sort Of

While walking back and forth in the space in his room, Kade found another interesting discovery.

"I can somehow sense the space and all obstructions around me".

"This is very good news for me".

He said while walking towards his bed and then stopping just before he hit the frame.

"Amazing, this seems like the heat-sensing ability that some snakes back on Earth possess".

"But for me, it is so much more". He said with barely hidden excitement in his tone of voice.

Through his senses, he could "see" the outlines of the different pieces of furniture in the room. He noticed that he had become very sensitive to temperature changes, no matter how small and that was why he could somehow "see" the pieces of furniture around him because of these temperature differences.

"Seems like all that time spent watching National Geographic because of Dad had finally come in handy for me today".

During his musings, a knock came at the door and someone had made their way inside. From the steps, he could tell it was Edna but for the first time, he could "see" her. Looking at her, he saw that she wasn't very tall and although he couldn't see her features, he felt that she would be pretty.

Sensing a weird vibe in the air, she cleared her throat and said.

"Come with me, the first madame has called for you".

"Lead the way then".

She began walking out of the room with pace as she felt strange in his presence today. She looked back and became quite shocked seeing him keep up with her.
