EXPLOSION

The clock marking 2:00 am witnesses that Robin is conferring medicines to her father after disturbing him from his deep sleep unwantedly. Ritcher is standing at the passage and looking at them. Afterwards, Robin turns the lights off, closes the door, and makes her way to her room followed by Ritcher.

He asks "Are you tired?"

Robin replies "No!"

While observing her face, he asks once again. "What are you thinking about? You are looking disturbed."

Robin speaks with a sorrowful expression "I am worried about my father. I didn't know that he still misses my mom. It really hurts."

"She must not have left him. He really needs her." He seems sad.

Robin behaves as if she is okay. "Well! What about you, bro? How does it feel to live in a school hostel?"

"Ha-ha! It feels joyous. I spend all the time with my friends". His expressions turn blissed.

She suddenly asks "don't you miss your parents?"

He responds with a sigh "I guess, It is better to live in a hostel rather than living in an orphanage. But I will never forget that car accident which took my parents away."

Robin says emotionally "Yeah! There are lots of unforgettable moments in life But all we need is just to forget them and move on. Luckily … I have forgotten my mom but I need to meet her once just for my father. Just to ask the reason why she believed others instead of believing such a caring and honest husband. How selfish she was or she might be looking for a reason to leave him."

"I saw your mom in the new castle hotel today." He gives a sudden statement.

She asks "My mom!"

"I was sitting in the taxi. I saw her going inside. I felt something terrible around her." He replies in a swift voice.

"How?" She exclaimed.

Ritcher explains "There I found a few investigating agents around the Hotel, there was complete silence and quietness, otherwise. A frightened boy came hurriedly and stopped the taxi I was sitting in. He said he was in a great hurry and asked for a lift. The taxi driver allowed him and he sat by me. I was looking curiously at him and wanted to ask the reason for his frightened facial expressions and soon found him telling me about the rumors that a gang of highly professional criminals is coming to stay in New Castle tonight. Police mobiles were also seen running here and there."

Sunk in the ocean of deep thoughts, she looks as if she is preparing herself to implement an adventurous plan in the next few minutes.

Ritcher, out of eagerness, asks promptly

"What are you going to do? Police are already involved in the case."

Robin stands up and gets busy preparing a bag which includes a torch, a hairpin, a screwdriver, an iron rod, etc. Afterwards, she proceeds into her father's room and pulls out the bulletproof jacket from his cupboard.

"Do you remember that she left you and your father alone in this world, when your father needed her a lot just due to false blames which were put forward on your dad that he is a traitor to his country but luckily your father is a man of many qualities and hence got many witnesses."

Ignoring his explanations, she instructs him, "Ritcher! You are advised to stay here and if my father calls me, you would have to say that she has slept. Are you sure you would handle it?"

He doesn't want to let her go, "It is quite dangerous!"

Robin: "Being a daughter of an army captain, I feel I don't need to be afraid of anything."

Departing from the house she steadily walks to the parking area, sits in her car, and drives hastily to the new castle hotel. As soon as she reaches the hotel, she finds everything quite normal; there were neither investigating agents nor the police mobiles. People seem to be normally loitering around the hotel. She sets her foot into the hotel and asks the receptionist about the room number of her mother by telling her NIC number. The receptionist checks the record and tells her that the lady with this National ID card number didn't book any room. Feeling a bit weird and astounded, Robin comes back to the car and commences driving but actually she is sunk in the confusion. After covering a certain distance, her car makes some noisy sounds and proceeds to a sudden stoppage. She beholds the car carefully. As she opens the trunk, she becomes truly astonished to catch a sudden sight of a bomb settled professionally in the trunk. Only two minutes are left to blast as shown by the timer.

She contemplates the land meticulously, able to be caught by the extensions of her sight and finds a person standing behind the bushes.

She shrieks aloud, "Run away! Save your life! Run away! Here is a bomb!"

The boy drowns in the sea of thought as he is astonished to see the behavior of the young girl. Robin scampers towards him in order to save him, pulls him by holding his hands, and hastens away from the car. A deafening explosion is heard which vigorously pushes them forward blasting into fire, sprinkling everywhere.

After the passage of a few minutes, Robin's low voice shows her weakness and faint condition "Ah! I can't hear anything." The sounds of the traffic police sirens stimulate the man and lead him to stand up steadily and flee away.

Following him, Robin distracts him and says aloud "Stop! You are injured!" He ignores it as if he has not heard even a single word and keeps running. After covering a certain distance, the boy stops and takes a deep breath. He looks at her face before his eyes dart away.

He whispers to himself in a slow angry voice "How coward!"

Robin, being an enthusiastic girl, says angrily "hey! I am not a coward! (but suddenly her voice gets slow showing the warmth of emotions)All I want is just to live for my father!"

Suddenly, hearing the sounds of ringing of the phone call, she grabs out her phone and receives the call.

On the call, Ritcher says "Hey Robin! Are you okay?"

Robin says while sighing continuously "yeah! I am fine! I was…"

Ritcher interrupts her with a high pitch "hurry up! Come to the hospital. Your father is suffering from a heart attack!"

Losing all the strength, Robin kneels down with a sigh "huh!" The phone call ends.

The boy is still standing by her and continues peering into her face. He sees off as soon as the phone call ends and walks to the nearby car.

After a while, She asks "hey! Is it your car?"

The boy retorts within a rude accent "yeah! Of course, it is!"

Robin, out of worry, asks in a troubled voice "Would you give me a lift to the hospital? My father's condition is very critical. I am very …"

Boy interrupts her forcefully saying "Stop babbling! I will drop you!"

Robin runs to the car without wasting a minute whereas the man is still standing looking at her astonishingly. She stands up again and turns to him "Hey! Hurry up!"

Still in the rude accent, he replies with an exasperated sigh, "Madam! I am not your driver!"

She frowns at him angrily, being ignored by the boy. who sits in the car and drives with an astonishing speed.

"where to go?"He asks coldly.

Giving a swift statement, "To the city care hospital!"

Her face shows her distress condition with a huge storm of tangled oceans crashing at the shore of her mourned emotions. The sound of his phone call ringing discomposes him and he receives the call. The voice recognized on the phone feels to be of a lady who says "Hey Heartless! Where are you right now? Do you have any idea what you have done? Have you gone mad? Hey! Aren't you listening to me?" He ends the call without even a single word reply and pushes the brakes of the car. Robin steps out of the car swiftly and runs to the hospital. She ignores the man and even forgets to say thanks but the boy still follows her after parking the car at the side. She briskly steps up the stairs and moves to the emergency ward and she finally catches the sight of Ritcher, standing there.

As she walks closer to him, with her legs shivering, lost all of her strength, her face lacking expressions and eyes almost blind, he says "where were you? Was everything okay? Why were you not receiving …?"

Robin interrupts him with her high pitched angry voice "leave everything! Just tell me where my dad is?

Peering into her face, Ritcher retorts slowly, "He is in the emergency ward. After you were gone, a veiled man came and created violence by rapping the door. I could not hide him from your father because he got distracted by the savage noise. When I opened the door, the man asked with a deafening high pitched voice about where your father was and he pushed me away furiously. He proceeded into his room and told him that you were dead in an explosion!"

The boy who is still quiet, suddenly looks at him with his face expressing a bit of astonishment.

Robin lisps with her faint voice "I didn't get hurt and survived… What did the doctor say about him?"

"Yeah, the doctors are saying that unfortunately the Heart attack is severe and his condition is fatal." At the very next moment, Doctor Ed is found passing by them. Robin hastens to him and requests hopefully "Doctor! Please save my father."

Doctor Ed replies by explaining to her "Look Robin! You know very well that he is suffering from kidney failure. It is a difficult task for him to recover from such a sudden attack."

Man seems a little bit moved.

Robin babbles "Doctor! I want to donate one of my kidneys to my dad! Please do it for me!"

Doctor Ed becomes surprised "What?"

Ritcher and the Man glances at her with their faces reflecting their astounded expressions.

Doctor Ed says with a mixed tone of anger and astonishment "You know very well that your tissues didn't match when I tested once on your demand and you are a young girl! Your body is not strong enough to manage it."

He heads his way into the ward steadily.

Robin walks weakly to the stairs and falls as if she has lost all of her weight emerging into bursts of tears and commences crying like a child. Sitting closer to her, the Man begins reading her face quietly, observing into her eyes.

Whispering to herself, she firmly states as she is suffering with the pain of being broken into pieces "Mom! You should have to be here today!!"

Ritcher moves deliberately to them and asks the Man after perceiving him for a minute "Wouldn't you like to console her with any of your words?"

The tall-wide Man ignores him with a certain coldness on his face, turns back, and steps up.

Feeling staggered, Ritcher frowns with exasperation "Are you heartless!!"

He briskly stops as soon as his words touch his ears, a paradoxical smile is seen evolving over his lips and calmly retorts to Ritcher "You possess a terrific sixth sense. I appreciate it!"

Afterwards, he proceeds recklessly into the ward. With a deep sigh, Ritcher sits by her and asks Robin "Robin! Who is he?"

Giving no attention to his question, she doesn't reply as if she has not heard.

Peering into his face, Ritcher consoles "Ah! Don't worry, Robin! Time will change. The night is going darker. You must go home and sleep."

Her accent seems to be absolutely altered into antagonism. "Do you think that I can sleep well when my dad is in the ICU?"

Ritcher becomes confused "But…"

Robin says firmly "I just want to meet my dad once. Only this can grant me solace."
