Ch8: An Attack

The Queen's Room, Seattle, Washington, 2070;

She looked out of her balcony, her silver eyes swirled with star like shapes. Her mouth was pulled to a fine line, her eyebrows furrowed. Down below her "castle" was people fighting. She wasn't fond of her people fighting eachother when they could be fighting the rebellion.

Two men were brawling in the streets. One had what looked like a broken nose, and the other had multiple bruises and and some blood down his chin.

They both were scuffed up quite a bit, but didn't step down. Neither seemed to want to stop, as if they both were fighting just for the hell of it or to get anger out.

The Queen watched, before yelling out a stop, causing the men to freeze, their heads slowly tilting up to shout.

"H-Hi My Queen!" One of the men said, trembling, pushing the brown haired male off of him, not wanting to get in trouble for fighting.

She barked a go at them and they both scurried down opposite streets. She loved having authority.

In the distance she saw a person will neon orange colored hair. They limped into town square, looking at the queen but not kneeling like her subjects did. On this unknown person's face was a mark. The mark said " για να λάμψει το φως της ελπίδας " which meant to shine the light of hope.

Then and there she knew who- no what that person was. They were apart of the rebellion. She couldn't tell if they were a demigod, but most demigods were prisoners by now, and the Gods were most likely overlooking and not caring about this world.

The person held their head High and looked the queen in the eyes. "I shall die for the ones to escape" The person said in a feminine voice.

The Queen then realized the person was a distraction, she looked around and saw many rebellion members getting dropped off from helicopters and such, they began releasing gunpowder and bullets on the city, leaving fire and destruction in their path.

Citizens scrambled to hide as the rebellion infiltrated the city. The Queen wasn't scared at all, her secret weapon could easily kill all of them with a blink of an eye.

"Puppy, kill." She said in a cold voice, her aura gave off bad energy. But the figure in the corner could care less.

And with a loud thundering bark, a black dog like figure jumped out of the balcony and pounced onto the rebellion members below.

Tearing into flesh and cracking bones, blood gushed and stained the city streets red, but among these blood stains was one different among the rest.

The girl with a neon orange hair bled a gold color, she looked up to the sky and smiled.

"φέρε με να ζήσω" the girl said and with a beam of light, the girl was gone as well as the gold blood stains.

The Queen was clueless of what was to come. Will it make or break the rebellion?
