Ch6: Her Awake

2070, Greece, a land "conquered" by Queen Layla

The citizens of Greece were walking around happily, some grieving the loss of their family members due to the war. The sky was crystal blue and the ground covered in grass and pathed walk ways.

Down, thousands of miles down under the ground laid a beautiful girl in a glass case. Her brown ringlets of hair fell down her back even when laying down. Her long lashes fanned her freckled and blushed cheeks.

Suddenly, up above the ground where citizens sat, the crystal blue sky turned a dark blue. Thunder and Lighting crashed among the sky, and the ground shook violently. Citizens were thrown into buildings, it was a scary and uncalled for event.

No one knew what was happening, and they didn't know if they wanted to,but down, thousands of miles below, the girl's eyes opened for the first time in years.

Down below, those thousands of miles. The girl awoke. She felt herself trapped in the glass case, she was confused. Her hands patted the glass in front of her. She touched her own face and suddenly a flood of memories came back to her.

With a sigh of relief the top of the glass case flung open, and with a soft crash of lightening, the girl stood with the citizens.

The ground stopped shaking, and sky went back to a beautiful crystal blue. The citizens chattered about the event, but the girl just looked around.

Her eyes darted from place to place, confused on where she was.

"Galia.." she heard a whisper inside her head. "Yes?" She thought, wondering if the whisper would respond. "Climb the mountain and you shall find what your looking for.." the whisper said, before a soft sound of lightening made it go away from her head.

She shook her head and began running to the mountain. Due to her fastened speed she arrived in no time, so she began climbing. With her strength and speed enhancements, she arrived on top of the mountain in no time.

On top of this mountain she saw fallen temples to the once great Greek gods. In one of the temples she saw a tall woman. The temple was covered in markings of the moon, people hunting, animals, and nature.

This woman had brown long hair with silver streaks that fell down her back in multiple braids. The woman's eyes were a soft but brilliant silver, that sparkled even with no sunlight.

"Hello my future hunter, how are you?" The woman said, her voice soft and gentle. "I am fine... who are you?" She said looking up at the woman.

"I am Artemis, and you, Galia. Need to go fulfill the prophecy." The woman said with a gentle smile before touching The girl's forehead and with the sound of a wolf's howl the girl was gone, and only the woman stood there.

The woman sighed and looked up at the sky. "Galia, I wish you the best, please save us,,, the world is in your hands" She muttered before with the sound of a howl she herself was gone.
