"We have to tell her," I state as soon as I hit the last floor.

"Tell her what?" Dad speaks first, a warning look in her face.

"The lies are literally killing her dad—"

"And you don't think the truth will too?" He retorts heatedly.

My girlfriend is knocked out cold, do you see how half my shirt is damp?
