Rachel was forced to obey the new lecturer's orders. The other is his own brother.
Rachel's pile of three large books made her hands ache. Countless times she stopped. Just to lighten the load off her arm.
As Rachel walked down the corridor. Many of the students looked at him with admiration and not a few tried to approach Rachel.
"That wasn't yesterday's freshman, Re?" asked one of the senior students who had watched him during the orientation period.
One of his friends nodded in agreement that it was his junior who was famous for being beautiful and having a typical Caucasian face.
Rachel is a beautiful, Dutch-Indonesian woman. Because Mama Martha is of Dutch descent.
Martha's parents are foreigners who live in Indonesia. So you can imagine how beautiful Rachel's face is.
White skin, sharp nose, tall slender, slim body shape, but his hair is not as blonde as usual Caucasians. Rachel goes with Jeno's genes. Her hair is straight black and groomed. It's really different if the child is rich. Isn't that right?
One of the most popular college students walked up to Rachel as Rachel rested from exhaustion.
"Hi... Rachel," Remo greeted as he tilted his body from behind Rachel.
Rachel was startled by the sudden voice from behind. His body almost stumbled backwards, fortunately Remo's hand managed to hold it.
"Next time be careful," said Remo with a handsome smile. Rachel and Remo's eyes accidentally met each other, which made Rachel uncomfortable.
"Gosh you startled me, Bro. But, thanks," Rachel replied as she stood up. Remo nodded. "Sorry."
Then Remo deliberately turned his eyes to the large pile of books that Rachel had deliberately placed on an empty bench.
"Smart people are not like this," Remo mocked, shaking his head at the pile of thick books.
Rachel frowned at Remo's mockery at Delon's pile of books. Maybe Remo thought he was smart and diligent.
"Are you a nerd?" added Remo again as he quickly shifted his gaze to the owner.
Rachel stifled a laugh. Hear praise or even just mockery from Remo?
Maybe everyone who saw her carrying several piles of big books would think of her, as Remo thought.
Whereas the reality turned upside down with Rachel's good life as the Rich's daughter.
Rachel only wanted to open a book if she wanted to. Otherwise Rachel wouldn't have touched a single one.
"Puft... it's not mine. I was only told to bring Mr. Delon," Rachel replied with a laugh.
"Mr. Delon? The new lecturer?" Remo asked and Rachel nodded in response.
"Can I help you carry it? You're really tired," said Remo.
"No need, Bro. I can take it myself." Rachel refuses Remo's offer. But, Remo still snickered to help Rachel.
"Don't be shy. I'm not like this to you. So, let me help." Remo immediately took over the pile of books from Rachel's hands.
Rachel only replied with a faint smile. But, Remo could still see that smile.
"Beautiful," said Remo softly. And it sounded faint in her ears.
Rachel frowned at Remo because Rachel didn't really hear Remo's praise. "Yes, why?" Remo shook his head while smiling handsomely.
Along the way the two of them chatted. Sometimes they even joke. Until their laughter broke out at every step.
And it didn't feel like they were already in front of the lips of Delon's room.
"I can't believe it's already arrived," said Remo.
"Thanks, Bro. I was bothering you." Rachel wanted to grab the thick books back, but Remo forbade her.
"I need a real thank you."
"It means?"
"I'm waiting for a free lunch from you."
Before Rachel's hand could knock on Delon's door. Suddenly the door opened by itself.
It doesn't matter if the door opens on its own. But, the problem is ... there is already Delon with his sharp gaze staring at Rachel with Remo.
"Brother..." Rachel called softly in surprise.
Romi was surprised by the big tall figure that was already between the wings of the door.
But, Remo was more surprised by the call he just heard from Rachel's mouth but didn't hear it clearly.
Older brother? Rachel called Mr. Delon 'brother' did I hear wrong?
"I'm sorry, Sir. I'm here to deliver your books. I feel sorry to see Rachel tired of carrying these piles of books," explained Remo who wanted to clarify his whereabouts there.
"Give me the books. And you can go," said Delon to Remo. But, Remo glanced at Rachel who was beside him.
As if knowing the meaning of Remo's lyrics. Delon quickly restrained Rachel from leaving with Remo.
"I still have business with Rachel ..." added Delon. Remo forcedly nodded and said goodbye to class.
Don't forget Remo winked at Rachel before he left.
Rachel who saw Remo's blinking eyes just smiled as a sign of her gratitude again to Remo.
"Rachel, come in. Brother has ordered food for you," said Delon coldly. Rachel didn't answer.
Rachel just walked right in, ignoring the handsome man staring at her intently.
Delon took a deep breath. He knows. He's wrong. He shouldn't have dropped his sister off at the bus stop earlier.
Unbeknownst to Rachel, Delon had locked the door to his room. Delon did not want his apology to be disturbed by others.
"Is Rachel still mad?" asked Delon who had now sat down beside Rachel.
Rachel ignored Delon's question, her mouth and hands quickly stuffed and chewed quickly.
"Rachel, I'm sorry," Delon whined as he grabbed Rachel's hand on his stocky cheek.
Rachel really didn't have the heart. However, Rachel's anger still hadn't gone away.
"Beautiful Sisters..." Delon hugged Rachel's slender body in exasperation. Delon didn't know that the hug actually made Rachel's heart skip a beat.
Gosh, my heart...
"Bro, let go!" Rachel pushed Delon's burly body. Rachel didn't want Delon to know about her feelings of guilt.
Only Rachel knew. Sin? of course. Let Rachel be responsible for her sin to God.
Delon furrowed his brows. When his body was thrown to the side against the back of the sofa.
"Why? Don't you like hugs brother anymore?" asked Delon sadly.
"You do not miss me?" Delon approached Rachel again. But, Rachel's body is even more and more backwards.
"I-I missed you so much, Bro," Rachel stammered.
Delon seemed to have pushed his longing too far to unknowingly frighten Rachel.
Delon just nodded then let Rachel continue eating, "Eat," Delon ordered as he threw his burly back on the sofa.
Delon reviewed his face harshly. Day by day Delon's feelings for Rachel deepened. Delon squeezed his hand tightly when he remembered that his student was close to Rachel earlier.
If you don't remember their whereabouts and position. Delon made sure that Remo wouldn't dare to stand next to Rachel again.
Meanwhile, Rachel still occasionally spooned her food into her mouth while the corners of her eyes glanced at the man beside her.
Delon looks disheveled. His face looked sad. I don't know what Delon is thinking right now. To be sure Delon is not in a good state.
"Brother's Delon, are you okay?" Rachel asked, starting to get up her nerves. Delon, who heard Rachel's voice, immediately opened his eyes and glanced at Rachel's presence.
Delon nodded without straightening his body.
"Do you know why I want to be a lecturer here?" asked Delon and Rachel answered with a shake of her head. "So why? I also want to ask this, Bro."
"Uncle Tio. He asked me," explained Delon. Rachel, who heard that, immediately let go of her spoon.
"Uncle Tio? What business did he ask you for?" Rachel asked probing.
"To accompany Jenny for a while. He doesn't know anyone here. Uncle Tio knows I'm home and he asked me to accompany Jenny until the thesis report is finished."
Rachel rolled her eyes when she heard Delon's explanation to her. Rachel's grip tightened. Rachel immediately got up from her seat wanting to bump into her brother Jenny.
"Mommy and daddy know this?" Rachel asked and Delon nodded slowly.
Rachel couldn't hold back her anger anymore. Even her parents were helpless in front of the snake woman.
Delon immediately held Rachel's hand and pulled her until Rachel's body fell into Delon's arms.
"No, you know Uncle's health hasn't fully recovered yet. I'm only going to help Jenny as a lecturer," Delon explained as he carried Rachel into his arms.
Rachel and Delon felt their own heartbeats. Delon's hug was very comfortable. If only Rachel's feelings chose the right person.
But, with the awareness that Rachel still felt. Rachel didn't want to take her comfortable feelings any further than this.
Rachel began to let go of Delon's embrace on her body. However, Delon even strengthened his embrace.
"Don't move. Stay like this, for a moment. I've been holding it for a long time... let it be like this," said Delon quietly. Rachel who listened to Delon's words finally complied and hugged Delon back.
"Sorry..." Delon said again while kissing the top of Rachel's head. Rachel frowned, "Sorry for what, Sis?" Rachel asked again.
"For our initial meeting."
