Telling the Family

Summer's heart was racing as she stood in front of her parents and sister Anita. She had been keeping a secret from them since she got back from Paris and she couldn't hold it in any longer. So She invited her parents and Anita over and then broke the news to them.

"Mom, Dad, Anita, I have some wonderful news to share with you. Xavier and I are expecting a baby!"

Her parents' eyes widened with surprise, and Anita's jaw dropped. "What?!" they exclaimed in unison. Summer's face lit up with a bright smile. "Yes, I'm four weeks pregnant," she said, her voice filled with joy.

Her mother hugged her tightly, tears streaming down her face. "Oh, Summer, that's wonderful news! Congratulations!" her father added, beaming with pride. "Finally, my troublesome daughter will soon be a mother," her mother said. They all giggled.

Anita went over to where Summer was and hugged her too, her eyes glistening with tears. "I'm going to be an auntie!" she exclaimed, her excitement palpable. Summer felt overwhelmed with happiness as she watched her family react to the news. She had been nervous about telling them, unsure of how they would react, but their happiness and excitement made her heart swell with joy.

Xavier who had been in their room working, came downstairs. He entered the room with a wide smile. Summer's Father saw Xavier and went over to where he was and patted him on the back, a proud smile on his face. "Congratulations, son. You're going to be a father."

Xavier smiled and hugged Summer tightly.

The family spent the rest of the evening talking about the baby and what it would be like to have a new addition to the family. They discussed potential baby names and nursery ideas, and Summer's parents offered to help in any way they could.

As the night came to a close, Summer hugged her family tightly. "Thank you for your love and support," she said. "We're so excited to start this new journey together."

Xavier echoed her sentiments, thanking her family for their warm welcome and offering his gratitude for their support.

As her parents and Anita left, Xavier put his arm around Summer's waist, and they walked to their room together. As Xavier and Summer entered their room, they were both beaming with joy. Xavier couldn't stop staring at his wife with admiration and love in his eyes.

"Thank you, Summer," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "Thank you for making me a father. I can't wait to start this journey with you."

Summer smiled at him, feeling overwhelmed with love for her husband. "I couldn't have done it without you," she said. "Thank you for being my partner in this."

They hugged each other tightly, feeling the warmth of each other's embrace. They were both filled with excitement and anticipation for the future, knowing that their lives were about to change in the best way possible.

They talked about their plans and hopes for their child. Xavier was excited to be a father and promised to be there for his wife and child through thick and thin. They spent the rest of the night cuddled up in bed, talking about their future and what it would be like to be parents. Xavier couldn't stop expressing his gratitude towards Summer for giving him the greatest gift he could ever ask for.

As they drifted off to sleep, they were filled with a sense of joy and excitement. They knew that their lives were about to change, but they were ready to take on this new journey together, hand in hand.
