Day of rest.

They all slept like cats in a bed. Zack and Zane looked like they were trying to do a dog pile but not to long latter Zack and Zane woke up. The two boys Looked at M and Lucy before they snuck out through the window. While they might not have planned something they wanted to do something. As M and Lucy slepted there. Lucy start to squearm in her sleep. She tossed from side to side. She said unclear words and was crying in her sleep. M was to deep in his sleep to wake up to Lucy's crying. Lucy tosed and turned for a hour before she woke up.

"Aaaaa!!" Lucy screamed when she woke up. M finally wake up after she screamed.

"Lucy are you alright?" My said as he sat up and rubbed his eye. Lucy looked at M as if he was going to kill her. Her breathing was heavy and tears where pooring down her face. M looked at Lucy and tryed to pat her on the head while he held her, but when his hand went up Lucy flinched and covered her head with her hands. M shocked at the reaction put his hand down and just hugged her.

"Lucy what's rong" M asked.

"H-he... tryed to kill me a-again." Lucy cryed.

"again?" M said confused. Lucy nodded as she hugged him.

"Lucy it was only once. He can't hurt you again trust me. It was just a nightmare. Please calm down" M said as he held her close. After a while of Lucy crying she finally calmed down again. Lucy not wanting to go back to sleep tryed to get up but M still thinking she will fall to the floor again grabbed her.

"Lucy what are you doing?" M said curious

"I wanna go eat" Lucy said as she looked at him.

"Then I will cook something for you" M said. M then picked Lucy up and walked to the kitchen.

"Why do you keep picking me up" Lucy asked as he sat her down in the chair.

"because it might still hurt for you to walk" M said and patted her on the head. Lucy still flinched a little.

"But what if it doesn't" Lucy asked.

"then you can wait one or two more days to find out" M said then made his way to the stove.

"So what do you want to eat Lucy" M asked.

"I... don't know" Lucy said. M nodded and then thought of foods to cook. He desides to do something simple like pancakes and a fruit salad. When he was done there was a pile of pancakes and a fruit salad at the table.

"Dad where's Zack and Zane" Lucy asked.

"I don't know. They probably went outside or something" M said.

"how come they can go outside but you always want me inside" Lucy said a bit upset.

"You can go outside but I would rather be with you. At least for right now because your injured and your an easy target." M said.
