Hate To Break It To You

"I hate to break it to you, but we are over," she coldly said as he gaped at her as if she wasn't real. "For real? I thought we could work it out," he calmly says, even though a storm is winding up in his mind. a dark deadly storm. "Sorry, but we aren't a match anymore as you keep on hurting me and watching me hurt," she says, looking blankly at him. "Look, I am sorry. But we have to make it work otherwise you will have to giv-" She cut him off my saying, "I will give you the compensation for breaching the contract. But I want a divorce first." Her ached to say those words to him, but she had no choice. She had to give up, so she could finally not cause him any pain. A flash of pain covered his face for a second, like he was hurting as her. But maybe she was imagining things. He would never love a woman, who was like her. "So?" she asked, showing hesitation. "Meet me at the kazi's (Islamic Court Room) tomorrow at 10 a.m," he said as he walked away from her, feeling something break.

Chapter:1

The furious tapping of a keyboard was heard as she kept typing the emails and responding to them.

Apparently, her boss was gone on a holiday and won't return till next Monday, which means she had to take his place temporarily and do all the work.

Her position as a senior P.A made it worse as she had to monitor all the staff members, plus his junior assistant.

"Why did I even agree to do this?" she huffed, being tired of all the work load.

"I better get a raise for this or else I will really quit this fucked up job of that fucker," she muttered as she continued doing her work, not realising that he was standing there the whole time, watching her being amused. He returned earlier from his trip, yet decided to stay at a hotel in the city for sometime, to relax a bit and for another reason.

He loved to annoy her.

If it were another person instead of her saying those words, he would have just choked that person to death.

He couldn't do so to her even if he wanted as they were in a bond where, he had to forcefully call her as his wife.

They were in an loveless arranged marriage, where she often got hurt.

Heck! She didn't even get a wedding reception as her-in-laws didn't accept her as his wife.

I mean, of course they wouldn't. Rich bratty people had no place for an orphan, who they thought was a gold digger. But in fact, she didn't marry him for a luxurious life.

She married him only for one cause, that is because she was in love with the brown eyed man. His dark hair which he combed up and made sure to look his best.

He had a mesmerising face, which she could stare for hours. He looked so gorgeous when he commanded her with his strong authoritative voice. One which makes her body tingle with a burning desire.

"Why the fuck did I get married to him!" she yelled, feeling frustrated.

"For the money of course," his voice boomed, making her alert and afraid.

Shit! He heard me!-she groaned internally.

What should I do now?
