First year

It had been hectic ever since the sorting for William as he occupied himself with books in the private library he wasn't alone though lily accompanied him yet not even she could take relentless study for so long

She proved to be the only person who could stop Williams manic obsession with books as she distracted him with games and such

James and the gang also hung out with them but they had formed a group among themselves it seemed. Furthermore, the were also from different houses so the did not interact much with each other

Concerning the classes William was thoroughly disappointed that the class progressed so slowly well they couldn't beat a monster like him who did not even use a wand to do magic even dumbledore could at most do only simple spell wandless

In addition to this William also did his magic wordlessly that in itself was a feat only seasoned veteran Auror could do effectively, in combat but it was taught in fifth year

Therefore, he looked for any subject that he was not proeffient in something that gave him an edge obove other

He was yet again disappointed as the more interesting books were in the restricted sect. This he could only practice his existing skill and polish them to perfection and be able to effectively use it without any problem

But to remain undetected by Lily and the 'marauder' gang as they called it he could only do it when they weren't around. Don't rush to judge him as he was still new to being friends and he did not want to carelessly expose his trump card to anybody

He still read books on runes as they were the only bool that needed excessive work as he need to work out a good and working rune chain and he recently discovered that the runic language us quite diverse as it links Greek, nordic and even Sanskrit together.

So he worked on it quite a bit he even made some simple rune chains but they were still only theoretically correct he still needed to have the right material to write runes on or the won't work or maybe he was just in experienced

He didn't slack on his occulumancy training as he felt that there he practiced occulumancy the more efficiently he could cast spells wandlessly

He also did more slack on the physical portion of training this he lightly jogged the by the lake everyday lily also occupanied him they would converse while jogging getting to know about her more

Whenever he would mention her home she would tense up lightly this scared William a bit for his friend but stayed quite on the matter.he was sure that she did not suffer any kind of abuse, physically but maybe her parent are not supportive of her being a witch, maybe?

Due him not spending as much time with James and his group of friends it felt like they distanced from him. Well it did not matter he was sad but not to much he would be happy if the remained cordial with each other at least

Thing with shape had gone further downhill as he supposedly took his spotlight for being better at potions then him

During the holidays he busied himself with potion making and practical application of runes he was successful in both unsurprisingly. He remained in contact with Lily via letters she seemed hesitant in her letter but with a bit of urging she told me that her sister was upset about the fact of Lily being better then her and even blatantly mocked her as a freak

He encouraged her to confront her sister and just talk it out she seemed unsure though well even he was unsure that about it as he had no siblings himself

Yet, the problem was solved easily as they were still children. she thanked me profusely for it.

At Christmas he was not surprised to get so many gifts a lot for his fellow year mates. Though he was always studying he found still carried himself charismatically thus gaining a solid footing in the ravenclaw house he got a slightly burnt cake from Lily, she said it was as thanks he felt quite warm he did get gifts from James and co nothing special just some games

They soon gave there exams and as expected he had gotten a perfect score this however was not as common as it seemed the headmaster was quite shocked at the talent exhibited by him he even checked it himself just for reassurance
