potions class

Alex roamed the night in the castle and went to forbidden section to find a potion that increases brains focus for a short time, but he didn't get the result. he decided to check the system shop for an item and remembered the pendant of blood moon increases all his strength 300% at night that includes his focus also. he cursed himself for not realising this.

he went to his room and slept the night. Alex woke up early morning and revised some knowledge about potion making. since this is his first time in potion making he decided not to screw up.

first years are more among Hufflepuff and Slytherin this year, so Griffindor and Ravenclaw takes classes together, while the other two have single classes with no other house.

Alex came to potions classroom and began discussing potions with Hermione , when Snape suddenly entered the classroom. he looked at Alex who resembled Lily , he stared at Alex a few seconds and also noticed Harry who resembled James. Snape can't stand James image infront of him and asked Harry," Harry Potter can you tell what is potions use moonstone?".

Harry mind went blank. what is a moonstone?

this is the thought that appeared all over his face. Snape enjoyed the look and asked him again," you don't know let's try again how do you take out a bezoar and what is it used for?". Harry again has the same look but even more intensified. Snape enjoyed this and asked again, " okay then atleast tell me the effects of draught of peace". Harry looked like he is hearing a different language and turned gloomy. Snape is secretly enjoying in his heart.

Hermione raised her hand again and again for each question but ignored by Snape. she is mad at Snape. Snape turned around to Alex and asked him to answer to find how far Lily

teached him. Alex stood up and answered," moonstone is used in draught of peace and liquid of life and death, bezoar should be taken out from a goat's stomach and it's works as a anti agent to poison temporarily blocking it, draught of peace is used to relieve anxiety and nervousness professor". Alex answered with sincere look reminding him Lily. he looked at Harry mockingly and said, " you should work like your brother and get knowledge to acquire a girlfriend at an early age just like him, although you are twins looks like only one of you are hardworking and useful and the other looks pretty much empty".

the classroom burst into laughter due to Snape mocking both Alex and Harry. Snape is mad at Alex for having such playboy personality with Lily's appearance, he can't stand it and mocked Harry due to his hatred towards James.

Alex had an indifferent look on his face and Snape lost interest in him because he didn't want to bully Lily's appearance. so, the hatred all flowed towards Harry. Harry has an expression of black lines and humiliation on his face.

Snape enjoyed Harry's look, at this moment Hermione is grateful to Snape for trying to knock some sense into Alex and mocking him for his flirting behaviour. she is laughing at Alex. Alex thought in his heart ," just you wait after I conquer you I will teach you a lesson". but didn't say it outside.

the class continued and Snape taught them about viles , basic brewing and about cure of boils. he came to Alex to observe his brewing and find it is at the level of a master, he praised Lily in his heart and observed Alex for sometime , others are nervous with Snape watching them even Hermione, but Alex is ignoring Snape and totally focussing on potion he brewed it successfully in just 5 minutes, stunning Snape and the rest of the class the effect is good and quality is excellent. Snape gave 10 points to Ravenclaw. the others are all just preparing the ingredients , viles and couldron at this moment. only Hermione is stated processing the ingredients. Alex watched Snape for sometime. Snape lost interest in Alex as he knew he will not be moved by his mocking and sarcasm. so Snape chose Harry and Harry is so nervous with Snape that he done the whole course wrong, not only him but the others at the table also did the same thing.

Hermione finished brewing it successfully and chatting with Alex about other potions , she shocked to know that Alex posses such talent in this. she even listened to potions of veritaserum and others that are only taught in 7th year.

Snape ignored them and continued to torment Harry deducting a total of 20 points from his group. Ron is so angry at Snape that if this is not Hogwarts ,he would've gone to fist fight with Snape. Hermione is disappointed at them for deducting points for Griffindor.

Hermione continued to discuss with Alex when Snape said," this is classroom not great hall. just mind each other business".

Alex just ignored Snape and took his potions textbook to study. this made Snape loose his interest in mocking Alex completely. he continued to torment Harry until the end about his potion brewing.

when the class end all exited except Alex he stayed there , Snape looked at him and asked ," do you want to be locked up here until next class". Alex shook his head and said," I have doubts in potion making". Snape looks indifferent and and asked about the doubts.

Snape and Alex continued to chat for sometime and Snape is stunned by Alex's knowledge , give a few pointers and he will catch up to the potion wrongdoings in the text and also surprised by his knowledge on the ingredients. when Alex is leaving the classroom after saying a thanks to Snape, Snape remembered his days with Lily and he began to feel more guilty towards Alex. he gave Alex's location to voldemort sending Alex close to his death. he decided to help Alex during his stay in Hogwarts to make up for it.

Alex exited the classroom and goes towards charms class which is next. he is very confident in his charms since he practiced them everyday and also achieved wandless casting on his own. the power is slightly inferior to his wand, but still powerful to knock out a professor.
