The other wand maker

Mykew Gregorovitch, the other famous wandmaker in this world. I instructed Idun and Robert to find his whereabouts and make a schedule to meet. At first, he declined my invitation due to the fact that he is retired and does not know about the Ophias family, but I had conveyed a message that pique his interest. That is two pieces of information that I have one the whereabout of the elder wand and two the identity of the young man who stole it from him. After hearing that he immediately agreed to the meeting.

Fortunately, he has a place also here in London where he previously sell his wand but it was closedown after his retirement. That is the place we agreed to meet up and here we are at his residence. Still shocked, Gregorovitch still can't believe that he is meeting with an 11-year-old child. Idun was standing beside where I sat to indicate that I am the boss not him.

"Forgive me young Mr. but aren't you too young to conduct this kind of conversation?"

"Mr. Gregorovitch. I am young but it does not justify the fact that only I have the information that you are interested in even my guardian Idun doesn't know what we are going to talk about. So set aside your discrepancy and let us continue with the talk."

I cast an illusion charm to produce a copy of the elder wand that floats in the air with my right hand where my ring is. It hovers between me and Gregorovitch. He look at it with surprise and tried to grab it immediately, unfortunately, his hand just went through the illusion. He looked back at me with a hint of anger on his face, but still, he remained calm. Impressive.

With a little smile on me, I spoke. "Idun tells me, have you seen a wand that looks like this"?

"No young master I have never seen a wand-like that before in my entire life." He answered. I turned back to Gregorovitch. "What about you Mr. Gregorovitch?"

He just looked at me with intrigue and surprising looks.

"Mr. Gregorovitch I am currently 11 years of age and soon to be 12 in the coming September. I only have lived for more than a decade. Do you think in that time I can know this wand's look?" I pointed at the illusionary wand and lean a little forward closer to Gregorovitch.

" Where have you seen this wand!" Gregorovitch said with a demanding tone.

"Tut tut. Let us not hurry with our conversation Mr. Gregorovitch. As I told I am willing to tell you the 2 things that you need to know but first." I cancel the illusion and retrieve my custom-made wand from the blacksmith of Atlantis in the pocket of my coat and show it to the wandmaker. "Have a look at this," I said while handing it to me? Gregorovitch.

The wandmaker inspects every inch of the metal wand. Even discovered the cover for the hollow part and opened it. He tried to cast Lumos. It did produce a not-so-bright light.

"What can you tell me about this wand?" I interrupted him.

"It's a metal stick. The metal can be a good conductor of magic. But that's it. It does not qualify to be called a wand."

"Nice observation Mr. Gregorovitch. A wand has its own sentient according to wandlore. Just out of curiosity Mr. Gregorovitch do you think by putting a core in the hollow part you can make this metal stick into a wand?"

"This metal is just as good as any wood that is used to make wands but. I have never made a wand with metal as its base. But I do think it's possible."

"Another question if I may Mr. Gregorovitch can I add runes to it before making it into a wand also is it possible to add a wood that will cover the metal and make it bigger and longer, as you can see it's very thin and a little short."

"It is possible runes is a major factor in making wands also I can think of many possibilities for this material if I was to make a wand with this."

"Mr. Gregorovitch I will not waste your time anymore. I am going straight to the point. I do believe in the practice of equal exchange. I will tell you what you want and also give you a hefty sum of riches. But I do need some back in return."

"You want for me to make a wand out of this. It CAN be done but I'm not 100 percent sure of the success. I will do it but you have to tell me where is the wand that you have shown me previously also who is the culprit that stole the wand from me."

"Do you know why I ask you and not Mr. Garrick Ollivander? The reason is I know for a fact your knowledge in wandlore is above Mr. Ollivander. For you have the chance to gain knowledge from the most powerful wand of Antioch Peverell Mr. Gregorovitch. And yes I know about the three brothers. If you did my request I may add the secret of the 3 items and they're where about. Also, I will give you a piece of very useful information that can save your life literally. But all that must come AFTER you comply with my request the information is too disturbing and I'm sure it will affect the task if I told you right away. It is too much to handle even for a man of your age. If I must say I'm on the losing end with our equal exchange Mr. Mykew Gregorovitch. So what say are you?"

"I will do it but how can I make an assurance that you will stay true to your part of the deal."

"In doubt I see. Well, Mr. Gregorovitch I am willing to make up an unbreakable vow with you. But put something extra on the table as to not make me so much at the disadvantage. You see I came from a place where the wand is of no use we have rings for that I'm sure you are aware of that existence there are many in this world where wizards don't use wands. Even the famous Merlin used a staff. Add another wand for my Guardian here just a simple wand will do. It's just for him to blend more here in the UK. Do we have a deal?"

"Deal!"

"Well then let us make the unbreakable vow. Idun is the witness to bind this vow between the two of us. And Mr. Gregorovitch I do hope you can make a very unique wand."

We stand altogether. I and Gregorovitch hold our left hand his wand on his right my ring in my right and Idun standing between us started to make a magical chain that is used for the unbreakable vow ritual.

"I Meshac Evans Ophias. Do solemnly swear on My Magic and my life that I will tell Gregorovitch Zauberstäbe Gregorovitch the location of the elder wand and also name the culprit who stole the wand from him after he made me a wand and handed it to me personally. Also, I will add further information that we have discuss a few minutes ago if I found out that he had made it beyond my expectation. I will add a piece of information that will save his life for free after the wand is on my hand."

Gregorovitch frowns a little. But continued with the ritual. " I Gregorovitch Zauberstäbe Gregorovitch swear on my life and My Magic that I will make a wand for Meshac Evans Ophias with the materials he provides as the main ingredient and tries to exceed his expectations in doing so. So it mote be."

"So it mote be," I said back

"So it mote be." Said Idun stopping his hand movements.

"Can I ask you a question Mr. Ophias? Are you somewhat related to a person named Lily Evans?" Gregorovitch asked.

" to tell you the truth this is the first time I'm hearing this. Maybe, maybe not. Forgive me but I do not know the Evans family other than it was the family name of my Mother before she was married to my Father. Maybe in time, we will both know." I answered.

What the fuck. It slipped my mind Evans was the family name of lily Potter but I forgot to investigate about that. I think it's time to do some research this will change my future plans if Harry is my Cousin. What I do know is that Lily Potter was a muggle-born. I have to investigate this quickly.

"One last thing Mr. Gregorovitch as for the wand core. I have something for that." I said as I signal Idun to hand over an item that I gave him before coming here.

A small rectangular jade box four inches wide and in height and fifteen. Inside was two things a wood from an ancient tree I got from the isis treasury and a piece of a real dragon string both emitting some magic. Especially the dragon heartstring. It was well preserved in this box.

As Gregorovitch opens it. His eyes almost bulge out. "An ancient Bristlecone. And a very powerful dragon heartstring. I must say Mr. Ophias this material alone if you have shown me will revive my enthusiasm to create a wand."

"Is that so... well then I do hope you will make an exquisite wand Mr. Gregorovitch. Good luck to you. We will depart so that we don't disturb your retirement anymore." I said with a little sarcasm.

As we leave and returned to our house in the Diagon Alley I made a task for Idun. To find a list of people and investigate them fully. I also told him to work with Robert to make it faster. As for me, I return to my mini-world old to further train.
