"Phew"
I gasp for breath and let out a sigh of relief. My whole body hurts, breathing also feels like labor. The village head was right, I can see why it takes a group of people to defeat a single slow rabbit.
I had 3 jobs with a cheat job like Hero, still it was so hard and dangerous for me. I also found out how big the difference between Durandal and an Iron sword really is.
I place the fur in the bag and keep the iron sword back on my waist. I have to rearrange my points again, as I need the HP absorption ability to regain some of my lost HP. It's scary thinking about how I can die, just because my HP hit zero.
I add points and summon Durandal once again.
[Holy Sword Durandal
-Attack Power x5
-HP Absorption
-MP Absorption
-Incantation Interruption
-Ignore Level Gap Modifiers
-Ignore Defence]
I can see the full skill list of Durandal once I mentally tap on the arrow at the bottom of the text box. 6 skills for a weapon of 6th rarity. This ignore level gap and ignore defence skills were the reason I could one shot Hugo the level 41 thief. Also Humans have a very small HP pool in comparison to Demons.
But I don't need the majority of skills from this sword right now. So I lower a rarity and Durandal disappears and in its place is a sword which looks a just a tiny bit modest than Durandal. Almost similar in looks with a golden hilt, just missing the big red orb which was present in Durandal.
[Fragarach
-Attack Power x5
-HP Absorption
-Incantation Interruption
-Ignore Level Gap Modifiers
-Ignore Defence]
Honestly this 2 handed sword is still way overpowered, especially for a beginner like me. 5 skills for 5th rarity, it just doesn't have MP absorption skill which I don't need now anyway.

I go further inside the forest, and see another level 1 slow rabbit.
This time I just run and slash the rabbit with Fragarach. The rabbit disappears in smoke leaving behind something other than fur this time.
The pain in my body eased up a bit. As I defeated the enemy I absorbed some HP through the HP absorption skill. But I think I will have to hunt 1 or 2 more to be at full HP.
I pick up the piece of Meat which is on the ground. Yep this is Rabbit's meat, a rare drop with only 10% drop rate. Maybe I got it so soon because my luck increased due to the last reward.
It was dropped on the ground, but still there is not even a speck of dirt on it, maybe because it's a monster drop. I just can't wait for Dinner. Keeping it inside my bag I move on.
The slow rabbit runs away seeing people approach but if they get into a fight, they fight till the end. All I do is launch a preemptive strike and kill it in one blow.
Just like that I hunt 2 more rabbits and stop feeling any pain. Both of them dropped rabbit fur, and after this last kill I even leveled up.

Villager: Level 3
Hero: Level 1
Thief: Level 3
Equipment: Iron Armor, Leather shoes, Iron Sword, Fragarach]
As I thought, leveling up Hero will be very hard. I checked and still there was no reward in the level up system for the recent level up.
I look up and see that the sun is already high in the sky, it's close to noon already, I should head back now.
My total bonus point is now 101, because of Villager becoming Level 3.
I don't want people to see my new sword, so let's reset.

I enter back into the village from the forest and go inside the Village head's house.
"Can you use this for tonight's Dinner?"
"This is rabbit's meat! Are you sure you want me to have it?"
"Yes, I thought it would help in tonight's dinner. See I got a nice haul today."
I opened my bag and showed him the 5 pieces of rabbit fur. The rabbit fur is quite small, you would need at least 100-200 pieces of rabbit fur to make a fur coat.
"Killing so many of them even when only half a day has passed!"
The village head looked speechless.
"As you said they were very easy prey"
"Even if they are easy to hunt, we need many villagers to defeat it and that too is a long drawn out fight"
Well that is true, it did take me very long to fight with an Iron sword.
"After that it takes a long while to recover their physical strength. Treatment is also needed if someone is wounded. So normally they are never hunted in succession"
Well Durandal and Fragarach both have HP absorption which mostly takes care of recovering physical strength and any damage received.
"You are too strong Michio-sama, people who can defeat slow rabbit in succession normally never come to this village"
"Thank you for your praise"
"If you can, please sell the furs to the merchant. We sew them up in this village even if we can't hunt many"
"Ok I will do that"
"The merchant's house is three houses along"
"Then, I will be off"
I got down the dirt path to a 3 story house with the gate open. Before going in let's reset the points first.

"Excuse me"
I called out and entered the merchant's house. The merchant Bikka from earlier comes out.
"The village head suggested to sell the rabbit fur here"
I take them out of my drawstring bag.
"Rabbit fur? And that too such good quality"
I probably don't need to specify that I just hunted them.
"Will you buy them?"
"The market price for rabbit fur is 20 nars each"
Nars is the main currency of this world. It's different types of coins with the Empire's symbol embedded on it. In total there are 4 types of coins.
1 copper coin = 1 nar
1 silver coin = 100 nars
1 gold coin = 10,000 nars
1 platinum coin = 1,000,000 nars
Here the nars are made of precious metals like copper, silver, gold and platinum. This enables payment to be by count rather than weight.
I myself got a platinum coin in my last level up reward, so I am officially rich now.
"I will give you 135 for them all"
Bingo 35% increase for the win. This % increase is only applied to someone who has a job with calc skill. So when a merchant uses calc skill to do calculation he will get an increased or decreased amount because of my bonus skill.
Now I get why my Math teacher always told me to recheck your calculations. It's like I am hacking his calculators and he is not even questioning it. The people in this world are overly reliant on their skills.
But anyways I am not gonna complain if he wants to give me more money.
"That is good"
"Here"
The merchant puts many copper coins and a white coin on the table. The white coin must be the silver coin.
I count all 35 copper coins and keep them in my bag. Ughh I am missing card transactions already. The merchant also puts away the rabbit fur.
"We have kyupiko fruit growing in our vegetable garden, I would like to give you some as a thanks for this trade"
Here comes my Fourth job.
