chapter 5

I went upstair and lie down on the bed my mind  start to wander around the room and  finally settle on the baby and my College issue.

"I never planned on having a baby while studying but it happen anyway.Maybe He is making the decision because of my college work? Or I am giving the benefit of doubt.

"How I wish his mom is still alive then am certain any of this wouldn't have happen".

Knock! Knock !!!

"Who is that? The door is open."I answer tiredly

"W-wwho is th-there?.. Hardin said sluggishly.

"Mmmeee me me meeee"...he singing."What on Earth is wrong with him..  is sobering up. He walk clumsily trying to keep his balance.And lie on his side of the bed...

I took off his shoes and tie then switch off the lamp.

"Although am really exhausted and tired I couldn't find my sleep the pending issue is still disturbing me...I hope God ease my aching heart" ....

After switch to the other side I think I should wake him up and talk to him about it.I would at least know what he decided.

"Hardin! Hardin! Wake up...he just ignore it and try to sleep again.. Hardin!!.... "Please wake up I have something important to ask you"...."Oh goodness what is so important that can't wait till tomorrow and am so tired..Let me sleep ok"...He yawn again but I switch all the lights on and that seems to get rid of some sleep..

"This better be important start talking"...he mumbled tiredly.

"It about a baby..I know you want me to abort it".. I took a short breath.."-But I would like to know your final decision regarding the baby".....

After what seems like hours he mumbled.

"THE BABY CAN STAY!

I don't think I heard him right.. Can you repeat that Please...I ask hoping I heard him right

"The baby can stay and there is no need to be dramatic about it."I don't want to lose you and Grandma already know about the baby".

Hearing him say relieved me..

"Can I sleep now"...he ask tiredly

Yes .... Thank you so much and Good night... night.

"I silently say my prayers

Thank you Lord for protecting the gift you gave

For guiding my husband Right

And for your mercy in our lifes

Continue to protecting us even when we are not aware and always guide us

I want to close the prayer but I remember one of the preaching "Pray for your enemies"

And God please bless my enemies and guide them right.And All their evil plans should always go in vain.

AMEN.

I can finally get some sleep...I switch my lamp and everything gradually get blurry... Good night.

Nextmorning

The sun poured through my window. Another day had dawned, bringing with it new hopes and aspirations .The birds were chirping and enjoying the cool breeze.

And I am so excited to see another blessed day. I did my usual morning routine with a smile..I choose a nice outfit for the day... Closing the wardrobe

Slam!

Turning around and Hardin is so close me the tip of our nose is almost touching..I take a step back blushing.

"G-Good morning" ...I said shyly.

"Morning".. he mumbled tiredly

"My head is aching... Please prepare a cup of coffee".... There is no need for that.

"There is water and aspirin on table it will make you feel better"..I said with a smile.

He mumbled a thanks and use the medicine and went to the bathroom.I did my regular make up and put on my wedding band..

Few minutes later

He was dressed .. That is so fast..

"Do you want something?... Hardin ask with a curious look..

"Me!,I don't want anything..I was just spacing out"..I guess I have been staring at him mindlessly.

"Okay,I want to talk to you about yesterday"..he started

"Yes... Urging him to continue..oh my goodness will he say that all what he said yesterday is a lie or something"...

Hardin clears his throat..

I remember all that happen yesterday and I apologise about any inconveniences that may have caused...And the baby will be a part of our family so you can wipe that expression off your face  but I will add some rules to it"... Hardin said

"It no problem am okay with all of it"..I said excited..

"So you don't want to know about the rules? He ask

"Yes, there's no need for that".I replied

"There are punishment if you break the rules and I will forward the rules to you" he said seriously.

I just mumbled hmm in response

"And when will she be leaving"..I ask with a irritating look.

"She will be leaving tomorrow.. so you don't have to worry about her"..he replied

"And remember she is our guest so you have treat her with respect regardless of whatever she did to you inthe past"...he stated..

"Ok"..I just mumbled a ok with a smile.(in her mind. I should treat that b*tch with respect, Smirking

I will treat her with respect you don't have to worry about it)...
