Chapter 16

*BOOOOOOM*

The recruits were currently practising tank combat and while in the simulated battle, Ivar used a simulated Orbital strike on them. For training purposes of course.

"AAAAHHHH!!!"

A cry of pain echoed as the smoke vanished. Ivar had to train them so they could react fast in order to quickly take cover or get out of range of the Orbital strike, but it seems they still need to get blown up a few times before they learn.

"GET NEW VEHICLES AND TRY AGAIN!!!" Ivar shouted at the recruits that blew up.

Ivar looked over to were the explosion was and saw a Lightning tank drived towards Ivar. It was Buck. He retreated to some cover before the Orbital strike hit and was driving past some recruits who failed to do so.

Buck parked near Ivar and honked his horn as he waited for the others to get their vehicles so they could try again.

"Good job, Buck!" Ivar yelled out to him.

As Ivar stood there and waited for round two, Jane approached in her new power armour after taking a while trying to put it on.

Ivar looked over to her and was satisfied that it worked seeing as he paid a lot for that custom suit.

"Buck! You take over again!" Ivar yelled out.

"So? How do I look?~" Jane asked as she turned around as if showing off a new dress.

"Bulletproof. Now come with me so we can start training." Ivar responded coldly.

Jane was obviously upset but she followed Ivar like she was told. They both moved towards a simulated building near the coast line of the island. It was far from where the others were training but it was good because he needed them to consentrate on their own training while Jane could consentrate on hers.

They entered the building and moved upstairs to the point terminal wich determined the ownership of the base and territory surrounding it.

"I am going to spawn three squads worth of simulated Vanu soldiers. You might already know how to fight NC but you will need to know how to fight your previous faction." Ivar explained as he moved towards the terminal and typed some things in.

"Wait shouldnt we have Engineers here to repair us and give ammo?" Jane asked in confusion.

"Your suit has Nanite Auto repair and Ammo Printer so you will be fine. And you will defend the base alone." Ivar said as he spawned a shit ton of Vanu soldiers outside the building.

"What? Its impossible to defend a base on my own!"

"Start preparing. They will charge in twenty seconds."

Jane started panicking and took position against the wall opposite of the two doorways leading to the room they are in now.

While the countdown sounded, Ivar pulled out a Vodka bottle from fuck knows where and started drinking it and sat down on a chair in the same room as her. He was unconcerned and looked bored wich made Jane feel more comfortable as she thought that he might have lowered the difficulty.

"Begin!"

The simulated Vanu soldiers began to charge into the building. The soldiers were a variety of different classes and had a few MAX units with them. They charged up the stairs and unloaded a storm of purple plasma towards Jane.

*BRRRRRRRRRT* *DOOF-DOOF-DOOF*

Jane opened fire on the Vanu that poured into the room. She was surprised by the effectiveness of the Mercy mini-gun paired up with the NS-Gorgon anti-tank gun. At first she was doing good but the simulated soldiers were programmed to learn and use tactics. The enemies started throwing grenades while taking cover behind a hard light barrier placed in between the doorway. They soon had Heavy Assaults shooting rocket launchers at Jane wich made her panick.

*PZZZEEEW* *PZEW-PZZEW-BOOM*

Jane started stumbleing and tried dodging the incoming projectiles but it hit her and she fell over and landed on her back on top of a grenade.

*BOOM*

After about half an hour fighting a seemingly endless battle, Jane failed but Ivar didnt intervene until a stray shot hit his vodka bottle and burst it while he was drinking. The simulated soldiers seemingly knew what happened and started running for their simulated lives as Ivar started tearing them apart with his hailstorm of bullets and he closed the doors from within by using the terminal so there was no escape from Ivar's fury.

"*Groan* You could've helped earlier..." Jane said in pain.

"Why didnt you use Lock-down?! If your going to stand and be a target then you should at least do it right!" Ivar yelled at her after he came back from his slaughter.

"I...forgot..." Jane said while still lying on the ground.

Truth is Jane didnt even know she had that ability so that was the reason why she didnt use it.

"You are going to do this three more times and then we can go to the caffeteria." Ivar said as he pulled another vodka bottle from fuck knows where.

"What?! Why?!" Jane yelled out at Ivar.

Ivar did not answer her and instead spawned more soldiers.

"BEGIN!!!"

After a while of mostly pain and suffering, Jane and Ivar marched out of the VR training room to go to the caffeteria. As they walked towards the entrance of the caffeteria, the two passed MOP BOT again while he was carrying a box full of cleaning supplies towards Ivar's room. The poor robot loved cleaning but this sort of mess was alien to him. Ivar got mad as he was reminded of the mess Jane made in his room but he left it and walked towards the caffeteria.

As Jane and Ivar entered the caffeteria, they were met with tired recruits who were too hungry to salute, except for Buck of course who stood up and greeted the two.

"You guys took a while. How was it, missy?" Buck asked with a smile as he already knew the answer.

"It was hell..." Jane responded.

"Enough. Lets eat so you all can go to the Briefing room. The NS robots will be waiting there and will give you all the information that everyone needs about Esamir." Ivar announced and sat down on his table.

Everyone was happy as they could finally eat again. The Chef bots brought them all roasted chicken, mash potatoes with gravy and peas. They also each got a large glass of cold apple juice. Some of the recruits actually started moaning while eating, wich only lead to Ivar throwing a empty bucket of coffee towards the 'horngry' soldiers.

Ivar obviously got a larger portion of food and had the Chef bots bring him three whole roasted chickens with three buckets of coffee and a large bowl of mash potatoes and peas.

Jane sat down with Ivar again and got a smaller portion this time with the orders from a certain scruffy Engineer.

They all sat and enjoyed their meal and as the time went by, the Chef's also brought dessert wich was chocolate ice-cream. For the first time in a while, everything seemed to be normal and nothing could possibly ruin this moment.

*PZZZZSSH-CLICK*

Everyone stopped eating as a big red figure opened the door and stormed inside.

*KLANK-KLANK-KLANK*

"Sir. We have found the new location father is being moved to!"

The red NS MAX unit who gaurded the restricted armoury stormed through the caffeteria to where Ivar sat. It was the first time everyone saw this NS MAX and they were all properly mind fucked by the statement as well. They were more confused by the 'father' part and watched as the NS MAX approached Ivar.

Ivar jumped out of his seat, ignoring the empty buckets that flew off the table as he knocked his and Jane's food off the table.

"WHERE?!!!"

His cold rough voice pierced the ears of everyone in the caffeteria. He could feel his blood pumping and his eyes getting bloodshot.

"He is on Esamir... in Eisa Tech Plant." The red NS MAX responded as he looked as if he was in thought.

Eisa Tech Plant is a huge factory in the middle on Esamir. The facility is used to produce weapons, tanks, Colossus tanks, Bastion parts and other classified weapons of mass destruction.

If Gwaf was taken to Eisa Tech Plant, then there is a high possibility that they are forcing him to make something. This thought enraged Ivar, making his eyes bloodshot.

Ivar turned to the crowd of confused soldiers as he put his helmet that he took off to eat back on.

"GET TO THE DOCKING BAY IN TWENTY MINUTES!!! WE ARE GOING TO WAR!!!"

Ivar shouted his announcement and stormed out of the caffeteria towards the Armoury, leaving a group of startled and confused soldiers behind.

Buck stood up and rushed over to the red NS MAX who stood at the same place before Ivar left.

"Whats happening now?! Who did you find?!" Buck commanded answers.

The NS MAX reconized Buck as a Officer because of the data Ivar sent to the server so he saluted Buck before answering.

"Father-- Gwaf's last location has been revealed. Eisa Tech Plant is currently under Vanu control so we think he must be held captive in the facility, Sir." The NS MAX explained.

Buck's eyes grew wide as he realised what they were all about to do. He turned towards the recruits and gave a short explanation of the situation before storming out.

"Everyone get suited up! Get all your equipment ready and go to the Docking bay immidiatly!"

Everyone quickly went to their rooms to get their weapons and armour. Buck rushed over to the Armoury to meet with Ivar and as he walked through the door, he saw Ivar and a shit ton of NS robots trying to teleport the Bastion fleet carrier into the docking bay.

Ivar shouted orders at the large group of NS robots as they all entered the huge space ship with guns on every corner of the surface.

Buck paused before he approached Ivar. If Ivar is going to use a Bastion, then he is planning on completely destroying any and everything that tries to get in his way.

"Ivar! Are we using a Bastion right now?!"

Ivar turned towards Buck and expected some resistance to the sudden change of plans. Buck was planning on trying to stop Ivar but when he saw the Bastion...

"I WANT TO PILOT IT!!!"

It was Buck's life long dream to fly a Bastion and shooting its massive cannons, so he quickly changed his mind.

Ivar let out a little smile at Buck's reaction and called over a NS robot.

"Buck will captain the Bastion! Follow all of his orders until we complete our mission!"

Buck jumped around in excitement and ran towards the Bastion. The old Engineer got teleported inside of the massive space ship and then the Bastion got teleported to the Docking bay.

*BZZZZZZSSSSSH---POOF*

The Bastion dissapeared in front of Ivar, who then marched out of the Armoury towards the Control room. He passed through scrambleing recruits as he marched though the halls. They all rushed to get ready and moved towards the Docking bay as soon as they were sure they had everything. MOP BOT also passed Ivar again and this time he carried a blow-torch up to Ivar's room. Ivar wondered how fucking dirty it had to be for even MOP BOT to resort to fire.

Ivar entered the Control room and tried to contact Wiliam. The transmission connected and Wiliam's face appeared on the screen with a confused expression.

"Is something wro--" Wiliam got interupted as he tried to ask.

"WE WILL MOVE OUT TODAY, SIR!!! EVACUATE ALL TR SOLDIERS IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OF EISA TECH PLANT! SIR!!!" Ivar shouted out in a respectfull manner and in rage.

Wiliam felt chills run down his spine and grinned at Ivar's response. Something must have happened to make him move out earlier than planned, but this all meant that there will be a lot of dead enemies and the fact that Ivar mentioned Eisa Tech Plant... It made Wiliam grin like the devil.

"Very well, General! Bring back good results! HAHAHA!!!" Wiliam laughed and the transmission ended.

Now that everything was done and ready, Ivar marched to the Docking bay where everyone was already waiting for Ivar. The recruits were staring in awe at the Bastion fleet carrier. The huge space ship had a cannons everywhere and was painted in a dark red colour with a skull decal on the outside of the Control room where Buck was.

Ivar approached the group and got all their attention by just looking pissed.

"GET ON THE BASTION! TODAY WE WILL WIPE OUT VANU FROM THE FACE OF ESAMIR!!!"

Ivar shouted as the recruits saluted.

"LOYALTY UNTIL DEATH!!!"

They all shouted in unison as they got teleported into the Bastion.

Ivar teleported in the Bastion's Control room and was met with a very happy old Engineer. As soon as Buck saw Ivar he turned towards the big terminal in the middle of the room and sat down on a chair in front of it.

"LETS START THIS BABY UP!!!"

Buck yelled out and started the engines of the Bastion.

*DOOOOOOOOWWWWWM*

The Bastion started hovering and flew out of the Docking bay.

The Harbingers of Chaos set out towards their destination with the full intention of commiting genocide.

"LOYALTY UNTIL DEATH! STRENGTH IN UNITY!!!"
