The Wilderness

Mom and I got ready to go. The first day we cleaned up the house. I don't know why but mom wanted everything clean, including the guest rooms. Next, we looked up all the wooded areas in town. Once we found them all we printed out the directions for all of them. Then, when all that was done we made a picnic lunch to take with us. Mom also wanted to have a first aid kit ready to go in case anyone got hurt. We also took an extra change of clothes each as well as flashlights extra batteries and hats. We loaded everything in the car, then went and got both gas and dinner for the night. After we ate and showered we went to bed.

The next morning we got up at 5:30 a.m., we were out of the house by six. We decided to start at the farthest one first then work our way toward home. Since neither of us knew what we were looking for it was hard to know what to do. As we made it to each place we walked the trails till we got to the other side of the wooded area then we moved on to the next one.

We searched six of these areas, the next one was close to mom's hospital. I was hoping deep down this would be the right one. We drive up to the parking lot and get out. Right away I feel there is something different about this one, I turn to my mom and say,"Mom I think we found the right spot. There is something about this area that feels different. I'm not sure how to explain it but I know this is where we need to be." " Well then let's go and see what we can find. Why don't you lead the way." "Okay, I don't really feel like we need to go into the woods, just around them. We need to go left."

So we headed off to the left side of the woods. After about a half hour I felt like we were getting close. I started slowing down when the area lit up. We just stood there and waited for a minute the the light went away and two people were standing there. We look at each other for a moment then both of our mothers step forward.

" Hello, I am Mrs. Jones. Wait I'm sorry my name is Lilly and this is Emily." Hello my name is Ariana and this is Rose." While the adults introduce each other I stand there starring at the girl Rose. But deep down I know that's not her name. Just like I know the person I see now isn't the person who is actually there. it's like I can see the soul inside the person. I know this women. But why is she like this? Why is she not herself? How do I ask without seeming to be rude or stupid? But before I can say anything there is another flash of light then we hear the voice.

"Good you have found each other. Now remain quite and hold all questions til the end. I do not have very much power in this realm so I must be quick. I return all memories to both Emily and sky, and to the adults I give the memories of the past so you know what you are dealing with. In order to right the wrongs done to the dragon race, Emily you must learn how to use you powers in order to free the rest of the races from the council's hold. Sky you must learn your elf powers in order to protect your daughter so she can save you all. I will also bring you dragon powers back to you so you can help your daughter learn. You will be the only elf to be able to use these powers so be careful. I ask both of to mothers to remain as these women's guardians. They are both young and need your help. I also ask you not talk about this to anyone. And finally I ask you find the twenty dragons hidden here in the human realm. when you do find them they will get their powers back but as their Queen you must make them understand not to use their powers untill they go home. Once again you have five years to do this. Now I must go good luck all, come back here in five years and I will send you home. Good bye, and good luck."

"Ariana, Sky please come with us, you can stay at our home. And we can talk about the future plans."

So we all head back to the car and go back home. I believe mom's needing to clean the guest rooms was a side affect of the dragon god. Well let's see were things go from here.
