Mr Cole sat by the wine table, feeding his saddened heart some alcoholic glasses of wine. Connor walks in , sighed then takes the wine from his father who was about to take another shot of alcohol,

" Dad , stop please" Dean sighs

" Am a bad man, am a bad father, I failed as a father , failed as a husband, am not loyal, I made mistakes and now , some kid that's my kid is having a clash with my my legitimate kid, that's a word for messed up shit! Mr Connor cried

" Everybody makes mistakes pops, we just gotta know how we correct those mistakes" Connor smirked , kissing his father on the head

" Don't you ever make the same mistake I made, love your wife and when you go on business trips , avoid porns and take enough moisturizer"

"Hmm..dad!" Connor laughed, walks over to get a grape wine then pour in some for himself,

" Am not masturbating" Connor added witha chuckle

"Better do, it's better than putting in a kid in a prostitute" Mr Cole scoffed.

"Dad!" Connor looked at his father

" I know you going through a lot because you about to die and you realize you have some shits you gotta fix before you die and all that, but you need to know something, you not only trynna fix your shit, you trynna fix the whole family's shit, your mess is the family mess, and getting all drunk won't solve a thing"

" Lola was right, Lilly and I are puppets, because we chose to be , we want you to die without feeling a pain of failure, we supporting you, we also fix your shit, bring him home , let him know you the best father , but you keep acting normal like a failure, you weaken us dad, mom could have gotten all mad and all racist, but she's didn't, you just need to make Lola understand, and maybe make a little rule to put her in a right place " Connor added

"How? , You heard her, my fourteen years old daughter knows what internet sex is, how did she know that?"

" It's technology dad, how about having her phone ceased, then trying to be there for her, talk to her, she needs you, and I got your back, and stop taking shots , you'll die earlier if you on taking these " Connor smiled, patting his father on the back.

"I love you son" Mr Cole smiled

Lola walks into her room, she could hear Lilly's sob even though she had covered herself from head to toe with the duvet, one could hardly noticed she was in the room anyways because they were both slim. Lola sighed, climbs up the bed into the duvet, her sister's eyes were wet. Lilly turned away from her ,

"Am sorry you got hurt" Lola apologized

"Don't apologise to me" Lilly said ,you could tell she had gotten blocked nose by her tone

"I am going to apologise to mum and dad too, but I need to know you okay" Lola poute

"It's not mum and dad you need to apologise to, or Connor!"

"Don't take sides with him Lilly, he already made a big mess in the family, his mum was rude too" Lola hugged her sister.

Lilly pulled Lola's hands off her then jumped off the bed , her face swollen from tears,

" Why are taking sides with him!!, You barely know him!!"

"I feel like I know him, Well, I was getting to know him till you called him a perv and gave a distressed comment on my cooking because he offered to help, I don't know why you hate him!!"

" Because he doesn't belong with us Lilly!, Imagine what our friends are gonna say if he comes to live with us, I was living a perfect teenage life till dad brought him into the picture"

" You mean till he caught you masturbating and Fin was watching, you threatened him, you are the threat Lola!"

"Stop hurting yourself Lilly, okay! Am sorry I rated your food a 5% because he helped...I give it a 100, that's a full score Lilly!"

"No!, You have to apologise to him and give him every reason for him to want to connect with Dad!"

" He's not going to Lilly" Lola frowned

" If you love Dad, or me or mom or even Connor,you would fix it!, I am not letting my father die and have his soul walking recklessly not being able to make it to the afterlife because of one stupid attitude his daughter pulled"

" Why you on his side!?, Can't you see he is trying to break us?, All of us!!" Lola said

" He is part of the family, the bloodline too"Lilly yelled,walking out of the room slamming the door behind.

"Dear God!, I heard a lot of not Christian words, forgive them" Connor prayed, he had somehow unexpectedly heard some of their conversation.

One could say Dean had forgotten the unpleasant scenario with his father's daughter, He had his mind taken by the lastest game " call of duty", talking to others playing the game over a voice call...

" Yo!, grow up!!" You could tell he looked less bothered

"Jason had me with the dream league shit!.....no!...dammnnn!...Jesus!!..no way am letting you do it to me man!!! ...nah ..Tali can't play..he has trading, says he got some news update at 10 or something...yea...I guess London or something.. forget about how excited I was to meet them... Am good with my mom.." Dean responded to other players on the phone.

" Dude!!...no!!!" He jumped off his bed and he screamed gently placing his laptop on the bed

" ..no...dude,...I think you took advantage of my hard knock day!...no way you could have won if I was okay...switch to video bruh...I want to see the pride and ego in you that am going to crush once am fine" he added laughing out loud.

A loud knock distracted him, he asked for a minute from his friend, removes his earphone and proceeds to open his room door, there was His mom and probably step father to be,

"Something tells me very soon, I will be forced to remove this door so I can easily get access to your room" Anita scoffed

" Máá..invading my privacy won't help, but if you ask for my opinion, how about a door bell for my room" Dean shrugged

"Why you still holding the door,do you have a girl inside? Open the door wide enough joor " Anita said pushing the door wide open.

        " Young Man, you are playing games, when Waec  go soon start, I will need to cease that laptop!!"

"So..hmm...what the ish?" Dean broke the 5 seconds silence.

"Hm... you have a guest.." Anita blinked

" Guest?...a girl?..boy?

" No..a guest you might be Happy to meet" Jerry smirked

" A girl " Anita interrupted, the boys understood her point.

" I wish máá...but my love life sucks" Dean said Walking to the living room.

" I love too you know...thanks for not acknowledging your first love" Anita followed , Jerry beside her like they were preparing for a weird reaction from him.

" Seriously?" Dean looked disappointed , turned to head back to his room.

  " Duro! , Wait, hear her out first ...she took so much pride out of her to do it"

    " Sorry ma...I don't mean to be rude, but she can go pick the pride up where she kept it...it's my house, my rules" Dean sighed

    " And your mother's roof" Jerry added

    " Thanks uncle Jerry, that was helpful"

     " Why you here?, to make another scene?"  Dean asked

      " No, " Lola bit her lips

      " I came to say am sorry, and please, I need you back in the family, so my father can be happy" Lola said

       " Let me guess, Lilly made you do it" Dean raised a brow, his mother pinched him from behind

        " Alright, I forgive you, see you tomorrow" Dean fake smiled and turned to take his leave.

     " Am serious, Dean!, my family's happiness is important to me, and when everyone in it feels am wrong, prolly I am wrong, and it kind of went hard on them when your mom told them ....you know..yea, am sorry about that too, you don't know how to keep secrets from your mom ... just don't take it out on my dad if you mad at him , please" Lola pleads.

     That didn't look like an African apology, but the three understood where she was going, Jerry and Anita gave nods , it dawned on Dean that he was supposed to be angry at the first place , but why should he be, she just apologized.
