SIDNEY WANTED TO KNOW WHO'S SIDE VINCE WILL TAKE

Seeing the way he looks at her right before grandpa came towards us and held my hand, 'Dear God, he is also angry, I have seen that look many times before in my office, please help me Jesus and put words in my mouth. I know I wanted to teach them a lesson but Lord, You know I didn't do anything.'

As he walked toward Vanda and Chrystal, grandpa said, "Come child," taking Vanda's hand as he walks with both of us to the front of everyone.

Feeling her body run hot then cold, thinking, 'All her family is here and they might say something to defend her if the thing turns bad.'

Noticing Vince looking at us, 'Lord, please don't let anything happen to embarrass me so he will feel shame in front of his friends.' Feeling her hands soak with sweat as she closes her eyes in fear.

When grandpa said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank you all for attending this celebration this evening. Although it was a last-minute invitation, you find time out of your busy schedule to be here, and I appreciate it very much.

My reason for this celebration this evening is to properly welcome this beautiful young lady on my right side, into my family."

Hearing her family clapping, "She is Sidney and my newlywed granddaughter-in-law. Also, you all know this young lady on my left, she is my precious granddaughter whom I love very much."

Hearing someone in the crowd asks, "Slone, tell us, we heard your granddaughter is a lesbian, is that true?"

"My friend, I don't entertain rumors, I know the truth, but this evening we are not here for gossip, we are here to enjoy ourselves.

I have made a lot of preparation for this celebration, so you can eat to your heart's contentment, and we have my son group to serenade us with some soothing music to make your heart happy and jolly.

Sidney felt grandpa trembling as he held both of our hands and walk slowly so no one will suspect anything. He is a very sly old feller, but I could feel how tense he was, his breathing was heavy and I could feel the tension.

Right before entering the study, his hold tightens, Sidney looks at him then he closes the door and locks it, and before Vanda or I could say a word he turns to us asking, "Now let me hear what is going on between the two of you?"

Sidney knew he was angry which was not good for his health, especially the way his body was trembling.

When Vanda said, "GP, why would someone spread such rumors about me?" When she looks at me asking, "Sidney, why would you say such a thing? I haven't done anything to you, so why this lies?"

Sidney saw the tears in her eyes wanting to remove them, but she didn't say any such thing and admitted she said it will be untrue and might cause conflict and discord within the family.

Slone knows that Vanda and Chrystal have been making mischief, 'But this child she has been taking all they have been throwing at her and never retaliated but this is unacceptable, how could she do this?'

When Sidney replies to Vanda, "Me! Vanda, I did not say any such thing, it's the first I am hearing of it when someone whispered it to Vince before grandpa held my hand, and the only person I said you two were roommates were between, Miss Chrystal and Vince."

"You said we were roommates?"

Sidney knows if she only speaks the truth God will help her, "Yes, I said roommate, when I woke up Monday morning and did my baking Miss Chrystal came to the kitchen about half five, so I told her since you have been back, she visits regularly. I inform her I will arrange a room for her, grandpa I am speaking the honest truth, Vince could verify what I am saying."

Slone didn't wait another minute, he immediately send Michael to call Vince, it wasn't long before the knock came, and grandpa opens the door, "Come in son, tell me what Sidney told Chrystal?"

Grandpa held Vince with his back facing Sidney, so she won't see his reaction or give any signal. 'This old man feels I am lying, yes, I thought of teaching them a lesson but dragging the family name through the mud is not my style.'

"GP, I wasn't paying much attention to their conversation, but I can definitely say she said she will arrange a room for Chrystal to stay in since she has been visiting so frequently."

"Did she say Vanda was a lesbian?"

"GP, who told you Sidney said that?" Sidney held her breath wanting to know whose side he was going to take.

"That is what I am hearing son, and I want to know who started this rumor?"

"No, no, GP, I can clearly say, Sidney, told her something about a roommate." Sidney felt a slight release as he spoke the truth, exhaling slowly knowing Vanda was looking at her.

When grandpa turns to her and asks, "Sidney my child, did you repeat those words to anyone?"

"No grandpa I am speaking the truth!"

"And you Vince did you speak to anyone about this?"

"No GP, I can barely remember that, I was so caught up eating the goodies she had baked that I wasn't paying attention."

"So, the only other person is Chrystal? Vanda, I am very sorry, but I did warn you two."

"But I did nothing, GP." Slone sees the tears threatening in her eyes, but if he handles this matter unjustly one out of the two will suffer.

"Grandpa, Vanda knew nothing unless Chrystal told her." Sidney responds.
