Hades glanced at Poseidon and Zeus, an idea forming in his mind. "Switch," he commanded, his voice steady.
Both brothers exchanged confused glances, uncertainty clouding their features. Hades could feel the tension in the air, a palpable mix of confusion and curiosity. He remembered Tiamat's wisdom—if they were to change the course of their destinies, they needed to adjust their roles.
"Switch domains," Hades clarified, his expression serious. "Zeus, you must rule the sea. Poseidon, you'll take over the skies."
Zeus crossed his arms, skepticism written all over his face. "Are you serious? I'm the god of lightning, not some fish god!"
Hades pressed on, unyielding. "You saw what happened just now. Your lightning had no effect on me. My powers come from the control of darkness, the void, and chaos. You need to learn the ways of the water to understand your own strength better. You might find you're more adept at controlling the tides than you think."
Poseidon's brow furrowed as he processed Hades's words. "But why would we swap? I've always been the god of the sea. Why should I take over the sky?"
Hades stepped closer, his voice lowering as he made his point. "Because, Poseidon, the ocean holds more than just water. It embodies storms, depth, and chaos. You can master the winds as well as the waves. Think about it; it will enhance your abilities."
Zeus rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the intrigue sparking within him. "You really think I could rule the sea?"
"I know you can," Hades affirmed. "And I believe Poseidon can command the skies just as well. But first, we need to see you both in action."
Poseidon hesitated, glancing at Zeus. "If we do this, we must commit. There's no turning back once we swap."
"Agreed," Hades replied. "And this will give us the chance to train and grow stronger, together. You'll understand each other's powers better and prepare for the coming fight against Father."
The tension hung in the air, thick with anticipation. After a moment, Poseidon nodded. "Fine. I'll give it a shot."
Zeus looked at Hades with newfound determination. "Alright then, let's see what happens."
Hades grinned, excitement coursing through him. "Good. Let's begin!"
They moved to an open area where they could harness their powers without restraint. Hades stood at the center, observing as Zeus and Poseidon shifted into their new roles.
Zeus took a deep breath and focused on the nearby ocean, channeling his energy. The sea responded, waves rising under his command as he summoned the water, feeling its flow. "This isn't too hard," he admitted, a grin creeping onto his face.
Meanwhile, Poseidon looked up at the sky, raising his arms and summoning clouds. Lightning crackled around him as he summoned the winds. "I can feel the power of the sky!" he exclaimed, a mix of surprise and delight in his voice.
Hades watched, satisfaction blooming within him as he saw his brothers embracing their new domains. "Now, let's see how you can combine your powers. Zeus, control the water; Poseidon, command the wind. Work together!"
As they began to cooperate, the ocean and sky intertwined, creating an impressive spectacle of storms and waves. Hades felt a surge of hope as he realized that this collaboration could lead to their strength against Cronus.
"Keep going! This is just the beginning," Hades encouraged, pushing them to explore their newfound abilities.
With each passing moment, they grew more confident in their roles, the laughter and excitement echoing through the domain of Gaea. The bonds between them were deepening, and Hades knew they were on the right path.
As they trained, Hades couldn't shake the feeling that they were forging a new destiny—not just for themselves but for all of Olympus. The future was uncertain, but together, they could rewrite their fate.
Hades spoke in his mind to Tiamat. "Will that went eiser then I thought"
Tiamat spoke back in his mind. "Don't forget they have spent years in there father Stomich and are basically like children, they don't have much say Hades"
Hades mentally laughed at that. "Yes I keep forgetting I am the only real mature one here, even with the reset".
Tiamat's voice echoed in his mind, a mix of amusement and wisdom. "Maturity comes with experience, Hades. You've been through more than they can fathom. Use that to guide them, but don't underestimate their potential. They may surprise you."
Hades sighed, watching Zeus and Poseidon still experimenting with their powers. "I know. I just wish they wouldn't be so reckless. We don't have the luxury of time. Cronus is still out there, plotting."
"You are correct," Tiamat replied, her tone shifting to one of seriousness. "And as their older brother, it is your duty to prepare them for what lies ahead. Remember, the bonds you forge now will be crucial in the battles to come."
Hades nodded, absorbing her words. "You're right. I'll need to be a leader for them. I'll train them, but I must also help them learn to think strategically."
"Exactly. It's not just about strength; it's about using that strength wisely. Teach them to think like a god, not just as children playing in the garden," Tiamat encouraged. "They will need both brains and brawn if they hope to stand against Cronus."
As he contemplated her advice, Hades glanced over at his siblings again. Zeus was currently trying to tame a small water spout while Poseidon attempted to summon a gentle breeze. They were laughing, but there was determination in their eyes too.
"Let's see how they handle a real challenge," Hades muttered under his breath. He turned to face them. "Hey, brothers! I think it's time for some real training. Let's test your abilities against each other."
Zeus looked intrigued. "You mean like a duel?"
"More like a collaboration," Hades clarified. "I want to see how well you can work together and combine your powers. We need to strengthen your bond and communication."
Poseidon grinned. "Sounds fun! What are the rules?"
"Simple. No one gets hurt, but I want to see some creativity. You'll need to use your powers together to create something impressive. Let's aim for control and synergy," Hades instructed, feeling the excitement building.
As the brothers prepared for the challenge, Hades felt a sense of purpose wash over him. He wasn't just fighting for his freedom; he was also fighting for their futures. If they could grow together now, they would be formidable in the face of any threat.
Tiamat's voice broke through his thoughts again. "Trust in them, Hades. They may surprise you more than you expect."
With renewed determination, Hades smiled. "Alright, let's see what you've got, brothers!"
The air crackled with energy as the three gods prepared for their first test together, the foundation of a new alliance slowly forming amidst the chaos of their past.
Zeus and Poseidon faced each other, their youthful excitement evident as they prepared for the challenge. Hades stood off to the side, arms crossed, watching with a careful eye. He knew the two needed more than just a spark of power—they needed to learn cooperation, timing, and control. This exercise was about pushing their limits, but more importantly, teaching them how to work as a team.
Zeus grinned, lightning crackling from his fingertips. "Ready to lose, little brother?"
Poseidon smirked, summoning a sphere of water to hover above his hand. "You wish, thunderhead."
Hades sighed internally. Still immature, he thought, but this was a step forward nonetheless.
"Alright, enough banter," Hades said, his tone commanding. "I want to see you both combine your powers. Water and lightning can be unpredictable when mixed—control it."
Zeus and Poseidon nodded, their competitive spirit tempered with a hint of respect for Hades' authority.
Zeus raised his hands toward the sky, summoning storm clouds above. "I'll start," he said confidently as bolts of lightning shot through the clouds, illuminating the space around them. Poseidon, watching closely, called forth a swirling torrent of water from the ground, guiding it upward to meet Zeus' electricity.
For a moment, the combination seemed chaotic—sparks flew, the water surged uncontrollably—but then Poseidon adjusted his focus, calming the torrent, and Zeus reigned in his lightning, threading it through the water with precision.
The two elements merged into a powerful vortex, crackling with energy but stable. The swirling column of water and lightning extended high into the air, a display of raw power.
"Not bad," Hades commented, impressed but not yet satisfied. "But now, let's see if you can hold that for longer than a few seconds without losing control."
Zeus gritted his teeth, maintaining the flow of electricity through the water while Poseidon focused on keeping the vortex steady. The strain was evident on their faces, but neither wanted to be the one to falter.
As the seconds stretched into minutes, Hades could feel their energy waning. They're not used to holding this much power for so long, he thought. Good. This is where they'll learn their limits.
Just as it seemed like one of them would break, Zeus glanced at Poseidon, eyes narrowed in concentration. "Hold it steady, brother."
Poseidon nodded, a look of determination crossing his face. "I've got it. Just don't blow us all up with your lightning."
Zeus smirked but didn't lose focus. Together, they steadied the vortex, controlling its force as it roared through the air.
Finally, Hades raised a hand. "Enough. Let it go."
Both gods sighed in relief as they released their powers, the vortex dissipating into mist and sparks. They looked at Hades expectantly, waiting for his judgment.
Hades walked forward, examining the remnants of their work. "You've done well for your first attempt. The power is there, but you're still lacking in stamina and finesse. That will come with time and practice."
Zeus, always quick to boast, crossed his arms. "I told you we'd be fine. Just needed to warm up."
Poseidon gave him a sidelong glance. "It wasn't that easy."
Hades chuckled, placing a hand on each of their shoulders. "Don't get too comfortable. What you did was impressive, but controlling that power in battle will be another challenge entirely. Especially when you're up against someone stronger than you."
Zeus's eyes gleamed. "Like you?"
Hades nodded. "Like me. Or Cronus. Or anyone else who's been around long enough to know what they're doing. Power alone won't win you the day, brothers. You need strategy, teamwork, and discipline."
Poseidon, more thoughtful than Zeus, asked, "So what's next?"
"We'll continue refining your control," Hades said. "And then, when you're ready, we'll move on to sparring—real combat training. But until then, rest. The more you push yourselves now, the better prepared we'll be when the time comes to face Cronus."
Zeus and Poseidon exchanged glances, both eager for the next step despite the exhaustion settling in. Hades knew it wouldn't be easy, but with enough time and effort, his siblings would become the gods they were destined to be.
As the trio walked back toward the heart of Gaea's domain, Hades felt a strange sense of pride. Maybe they're not so hopeless after all.
In the back of his mind, Tiamat's voice echoed once more. "They will grow, Hades. They will become your greatest allies, if you let them."
Hades smiled. "I'll make sure of it."
The bond between the brothers was beginning to form, and though there was still much to do before they could stand united against Cronus, Hades knew this was the first step toward something greater. Something that could change the fate of their pantheon.
"you tree have gotten stronger"
The trio tune there head to see Rhea, as Poseidon and Zues saw there mother, tears almost came, the last time they saw there mother was when they were born, Hades just smiled as they hugged Rhea.
Rhea has already seen the training as she smiled. "My little Guppy (Zues) and Sparky (Poseidon) have all grown up to find you man's... Sorry I couldn't save you from your father Stomich sooner
Zeus and Poseidon embraced their mother tightly, tears of joy and relief running down their faces. The memories of their imprisonment in Cronus's stomach seemed to fade as they clung to Rhea, the warmth of her presence overwhelming them.
Zeus, his voice breaking with emotion, said, "Mother… I thought we'd never see you again."
Poseidon, holding her even tighter, added, "We've missed you so much. All those years… it felt like an eternity."
Rhea stroked their heads gently, her own tears welling up but her smile calm and reassuring. "I'm so sorry, my loves. I should have found a way sooner, but you're free now, and that's all that matters."
Hades, standing a little apart, watched the reunion with a smile. Unlike Zeus and Poseidon, he hadn't been trapped. He always saw his mother and though he felt the same love, he had always carried the burden of being the first freed, the one who had to act while his siblings endured. Yet, seeing his mother again filled him with a sense of peace.
Rhea turned her gaze toward Hades, and she smiled wider. "And you, my little Shadow. You've done so much for your siblings already."
Hades stepped forward, joining the embrace. "I've only just begun, Mother. There's still much more to do before we can truly defeat Father."
Rhea's smile faded slightly as she nodded in understanding. "I know… Cronus won't be easy to defeat. But seeing you three together, stronger than ever, gives me hope."
Zeus wiped his eyes, stepping back and regaining his composure. "We'll overthrow him, Mother. Together. Hades has been helping us train, and soon, we'll be ready."
Poseidon nodded, his eyes steely with determination. "We're not going to let him keep his throne. Not after everything he's done."
Rhea looked at them both with a mix of pride and sadness. "I have no doubt you will succeed, but remember, my children… Cronus is not just your enemy. He's also your father. The weight of that battle will be heavy, heavier than you might think."
Zeus frowned but didn't look away. "We know. But we have no choice."
Hades placed a hand on Zeus's shoulder. "Mother is right. The fight won't just be about strength. There's more at play here, and we need to be prepared for every possibility. But with time, we will be."
Rhea stepped back, her eyes lingering on her sons, especially Zeus and Poseidon. "Just promise me one thing… no matter what happens, don't lose yourselves in this war. You've grown so strong, but don't let the desire for vengeance blind you."
Zeus and Poseidon exchanged glances, both nodding solemnly. "We promise," they said in unison.
Rhea smiled again, her heart swelling with love. "Good. Now, let's get some rest. You have a long journey ahead, and when the time comes, you will be ready."
As they walked back together, the weight of their task still loomed large, but for the moment, they were just a family, reunited and stronger than before. And in that, Hades knew, lay the key to their victory.
Hats then walked up to the group. "So what now, what is next Brother we just stay in grandmother garden and train for who knows how long"
Hades looked at her. "Not the plan but close, we will train but not here"
Hestia looked at her hade, her hair moving in the wind. "What do men not the plan"
Odin then spoke. "Oh simple the plan is to train all of not here but through the other realms of the god's.
Zues blinked and looked at Odin. "There are other gods?
In his and all the other siblings of Hades, they were trapped for years, to them they could have been the only gods in this world, something Hades knew in the original timeline they thought for a very long time, not until Zues randomly told them one day.
Hades nodded at Zeus's question, fully expecting the surprise. "Yes, there are other gods. Many, in fact. Each realm has its own pantheon, its own rulers, and its own challenges."
Zeus's eyes widened in realization. "So... we're not the only ones? There are more powerful beings like us?"
Odin smirked slightly. "Not just like you, but certainly powerful in their own right. Some of them have ruled for eons, and others... well, let's just say they won't be as welcoming."
Poseidon stepped forward, intrigued but also cautious. "And we're going to their realms? To do what exactly?"
Hades crossed his arms and glanced at Odin, then back at his siblings. "To train, to learn, and to grow stronger. You see, defeating Father will take more than just raw power. We need to understand the full scope of what it means to be gods, and that includes learning from those who've ruled far longer than us."
Hestia seemed unsure. "But won't these other gods see us as a threat?"
Metis, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up. "Some might. Others may offer their wisdom or challenges, but that's why we must be careful. Our goal is not to conquer their realms, but to learn from them."
Zeus, always eager for a challenge, cracked his knuckles. "Fine by me. If they want a fight, they'll get one. I'm ready for whatever comes next."
Hades gave him a small smile. "It's not just about fighting, Zeus. This journey will test more than just your strength. There will be trials of wisdom, patience, and even sacrifice. You need to be ready for all of it."
Poseidon rubbed his chin, clearly thinking it over. "So where do we start? Which realm comes first?"
Odin stepped forward, summoning a shimmering map in the air with a wave of his hand. "There are many places to begin, but I suggest we start with the Norse Pantheon. It's where I have some sway, and it'll be a good place for you all to get your footing."
Zeus and Poseidon nodded in agreement, clearly eager to leave. Hestia still looked uncertain, but she trusted her brothers and followed their lead.
Hades turned to his siblings. "Prepare yourselves. This journey will be unlike anything you've ever experienced. But if we succeed, we'll have the strength, knowledge, and allies we need to take down Father once and for all."
Zeus's eyes sparkled with determination. "Then let's not waste any more time. We have gods to meet and realms to conquer."
With that, the group began their preparations to leave their grandmother's domain, ready to embark on a journey that would shape the fate of their world—and themselves—forever.
