Adam approached at the giant mammoth slowly.

He would be supressed by the level and tier difference, but he could counter that thanks to his half awakened bloodline.

The problem was that he didn't have any particulary strong equipment, all pieces were below level 10 and silver-gold rank at most.

Other than his Dragon Roar skills, he didn't have any strong skills either.

"The worst that can happen is that I die, nothing much" He said and rushed at his target.

The mammoth didn't have a high perception and only noticed him when he was already about to attack.

"How the fuck will I kill this thing" Adam cursed, he more or less had predicted the result but his damage was still patethic.

The mammoth raised his leg and stomped.

Luckily the high lord was actually quite slow in Adam's eyes, he managed to avoid easily.

'With his recovery speed it'll be impossible to kill like this' Adam looked at his Dragon Ki Bar before deciding to go all out.

He activated the Demi-Dragon Form and scales spread through his body. Two wings appeared on his back as his aura grew strong enough that made even the mammoth take a step back.

His attributes doubled, his physical power increased by leaps and bounds, his attack and hp increased by 200% while his defense did so by 400%

'I only have two minutes' Adam saw his ki reducing by half and inmediatly launched himself at the mammoth.

The transformation had many hidden benefits, his attack and aceleration speed for example was much higher than before.

If the mammoth was slow before, then now it was little different from a static practice dummy.

Roaaaaar!

Adan used the Dragon Roar and the sound shook the sorrounding fifty meters.

The mammoth front legs fell for a moment as he lost 30% of his attributes, it also had a huge mental suppression that barely allowed him to move.

Adan felt like cursing as he noticed his ki bar reducing by 10% the skill description didn't say that it used Dragon Ki nor how much of it.

With the ten meter tall black statue in front not reacting, he inmediatly started attacking its rear legs.

The mammoth lost almost 7,000 hp per second, now that his max hp has been reduced to 427,000 it would die in aproximately 60 seconds.

Adam has already grasped the balance between attack speed and solid hits. If his punches were too fast but weak, they wouldn't even count as an attack.

The mammoth had trouble recovering his mental state, the roar has shook his very beings. He felt the danger and instinctively used a skill.

His front legs rose in the air before stomping down, he made a huge crater that made Adam lose his balance.

"What?" Adam resumed his attacks while he checked his character panel, he has been wearing the First Adventurer title this whole time.

'System set the most appropiate title yourself' Adam commanded while readjusting his position as the mammoth started moving slightly.

The mammoth felt the pain as it lost more than a 11,000 damage each second.

The mammoth speed increased slightly but wasn't enough to reach Adam who refused to go away from the rear leg.

Then its size growed even more and its fur had a slightly reddish color. Adam guessed that he would probably die in a single hit if the mammoth managed to attack him in this berserk state.

The Dragon Roar effect disappeared 30 seconds after it was activated. But even so the mammoth was already at death's door.

Ten seconds after, the High Lord died unwillingly, his huge body fell on the ground as it dropped a mountain of items.

The demi dragon Adan released a sigh of relief, he had subestimated the transformation's power.

He couldn't be blamed tough, the game had many parameters that stacked and affected a player's attributes. The effect that a skill or piece of equipment would have wasn't something that a newbie could predict, even experts would feel a headache from time to time.

"Now let's see what you have for me" Adam walked at the mountain of items.

He first picked up the mammoth meat and skull, he had to present the skull as evidence for the quest.

Then he took a glance at the equipment before sending them to the inventory, it was level 25-30 equipment, nothing that he could use now.

What he could use, however, was a skillbook and the runecrafting design that dropped.

He inmediatly infused exp to level up the skill once and his level dropped back to 15.

Now at level 1, the skill increased his strength by 12% for 31 seconds.

Adam was happy with the result but wasn't willing to sacrifice exp to level it up right now.

After all, he didn't lack strength, one could ask around which player could kill the mammoth in less than a minute at level 13.

He learned the runecrafting design inmediatly even tough he couldn't craft them yet.

He was barely a intermediate apprentice, he still had some way to go before having a ude for the recipe.

Leaving behind the enormous corpse he decided to make a stop at a nearby valley before returning to the barbarian town.

The valley was a level 20-25 leveling map with a variety of fox type monsters.

He didn't find any other High Lord, he couldn't use the equipment and the skills had class restrictions.

Adam could only sigh.

'System why can't I learn any skills?' Adam asked in annoyance.

-Host has to learn Monk type skills. Hidden classes skills are very rare. When host reaches level 20 and passes his Tier 1 test, more skills will be available at the Legacy Skill Panel- He felt that the system tried to consolate him.

'What is the tier thing about?' He still asked.

-From the information that players received from npcs and uploaded in the forums, at level 20 players are tested to reach Tier 1. Players of higher tier are much stronger than those below. Most hidden classes can only be obtained as a Tier 1 test, including host's.

Once host passes the test, you'll grow stronger and gain access to skills unique to your class. No player has reached level 20 and passed the test but this information is most certainly accurate- He received the best explanation that the system could give him.

'Alright' Adam killed monsters for a few hours until he reached level 19 at 90% of exp.

Only then did he return to the barbarian town.

"Adventurer, thanks for dealing with the beast, the people around are not so worried now" The chief said while looking at the huge skull outside his building.

"Not a problem" Adam said as his quest. updated.

System: Mammoth Hunt quest completed. Go to the Adventurer Association to claim you reward.

He then went to the teleportation hall and returned to Black Dragon City.

The city was now filled with players running back and forth.

At the association, talked with a npc to claim his reward.

20 rep. points, a few silvers and two levels worth of exp.

Now at level 21 a notification poped up asking if he wanted to take the Tier 1 test now.

He equiped himself with silver and gold equipment he obtained from the foxes before, the only piece he didn't have replacement for was the guantlets.

He now decided to use leather equipment, it offered much lower defense that light or heavy armor but he wouldn't need much defense if the enemy couldn't touch him.

He then asked to see the prices for land and was guided by an npc to the second floor.

The npc showed him the list of available land and their prices, even with a his big discount it was still very expensive.

'I need to start making money' Adam then left the building.

The price of 8,000 gold coins for the best land was not something the current players could afford.

He didn't want to expend his money on that but it was necessary for making more money, his organization would need the land to make a shop.

Thinking about it, he didn't even have a name for it. Since it would be basically a shop, he decided to let Agil name it instead.

"Agil, you have to choose a name for the shop. How much money do you have? We need 8,000 coins" Adam sent the merchant a message.

"A name? I'll think of some later, I've been recruiting members, most of them are alchemist but they'll be enough... I have 1,500 coins on me" Agil answered back.

"Go to the auction house, I'll pass you some items to sell" Adam said and headed there. Agil had lower fees when selling items there so it was more profitable for him to sell them.

When Agil saw the amount of level 20 equipment that Adam passed him, he wasn't much more surprised.

'He already has legendary item, what can't he possibly obtain' Agil said to himself. He had suspected that Adam was hacking but it was technically impossible to do it.

Even if he was, Agil could only benefit from it so why would he complain?.

Putting thousands of different herbs and more than a hundred pieces of equipment at sale along many skillbooks. All that was left was to wait for them to sell before obtaining the money.

Adam was already feeling exhausted so he logged out instead of waiting and doing nothing.

"System did you find out howbto upgrade the AI maid?" Adam said while changing clothes.

-Correct, I've registered the software under a ghost company and started the advertising after using some funds. As people buys the update, host would receive the credits on his bank account. Host information will remained private.- The system replied.

"Good" Adam went to bed quickly. Now at least he'll have another source of income, the companies responsable for the AI maids would be forced to lower their prices when people finds out his own upgrade to be better and cheaper.

His identity would also remain hidden, mainly thanks to how society worked at this age.

He woke up six hours later which surprised him as he usually didn't sleep past four and half hours.

He inmediatly returned to God's Domain. If he wanted to obtain more resources and improve his life quality he better stops losing time.

Almost inmediatly after loggin in, he opened the Tier 1 Test window and accepted the callenge.
