Chapter 9: Night Mission

Mellan: You sounded like a loser back there.

Aodh: Shut up we both know my match was the best one so far.

Mellan: Sure, you fighting a bear was the best match so far.

Aodh: Shhh don't care. But anyways now that we're all free we can put all of our time into the Investigation. We'll be snooping around tonight, hopefully we can get to Building 1 without being spotted.

Gabriel: There's a bunch of B.0.T.s roaming around all night, how are we gonna get passed them?

Aodh: We'll just have to find out when night falls. We might be able to dodge them though.

12:00AM. The 3 of them wait for Y3110W to leave before leaving themselves.

Ali: Where are you going?

They're stopped by Ali after leaving his room.

Ali: You know you'll be killed if you get caught right?

Gabriel: Yeah, we know we're risking our lives.

Ali: What are you guys even going out to do?

Aodh: Dealing with a danger that could threaten everything if they win this tournament.

Ali: You really think some kids like you can do anything like "Dealing with a danger that could threaten everything."?

Gabriel: Of course.

Ali: Alright, I'm not going to ask anymore questions. All I can tell you is realize when to turn back before it's too late.

He leave and the 3 exit room 18. There are fewer B.0.T.s then the first night so they sneak through the halls until they reach Building 1. They see a door that had previously not been there the entire time they've been under the dome.

Aodh: Perfect, a suspicious door that isn't there until everyone is stuck in their rooms. Come on let's go.

Before they reach the door, a B.0.T walks around the corner. It scans the area and the boys hide behind one of the pillars. The door flies open and out comes number 100. He walks passed the B.0.T. somehow completely undetected. He then grabs the B.0.T. by its face and crushes it with ease. Looking around, he looks over at the pillar they're hiding behind with a swipe of his hand destroy it.

Number 100: I know you're there whoever you are. I'm going to give you 1 chance to leave me alone and let me do as I please.

He walks away.

Mellan: We gotta go, we have to stop. We can't do this. I don't know why we thought we could do anything. Look at him, can we even do?

Aodh: Shhh, calm down. We'll head back and talk about this in the morn...ing...
