Chapter 39: Ferris Wheel

Gabriel, a person who usually wakes up in the afternoon unless his mom drags him out of bed, wakes up extra early today to prepare for his day at the theme park.

Elise: Wow, you're really excited for this. Hope you have fun.

After a few hours, Jeanne texts Gabriel she's outside. He gets into the car next to Jeanne with two other people.

Jeanne: Up in the front is Sophie and next to her in the driver's seat is her boyfriend Hugo. Guys, this is Gabriel.

Hugo: Why you gotta introduce me as her boyfriend? I'm more than just the boyfriend of my wonderful girlfriend.

Sophie: Your my boyfriend and our personal driver, that's it. No need to introduce you further.

Hugo: Dang, really gonna do me like that? Let's just head over to the park.

After a long drive, they reach the park, MagicWorld. Throughout the day, the go to many rides and attractions. Rollercoasters, drop towers, haunted houses, and more. They conclude the day on a massive Ferris wheel. Hugo and Sophie go in a passenger car together and Gabriel and Jeanne in another.

Jeanne: The night sky is beautiful up here. Have you ever been on a Ferris wheel before?

Gabriel: Nah, this is my first time.

Jeanne: Same, I'm happy my first time is up here with you. Let's hang out outside of school more often, with Hugo and Sophie or just us.

Gabriel: Sure.

They reach the bottom of the wheel and decide to call it a night and head home. Every week, Jeanne and Gabriel would go out at least once, sometimes with Hugo and Sophie, sometimes with other of Jeanne's friends, sometimes just the two of them. Soon enough, Gabriel starts opening up and being more talkative. In the blink of an eye, 30 days had passed and Gabriel has made his decision, he wants to live this life. He sits in his bed waiting to fall asleep, just trying to get this vision over with soon. He receives a text from Jeanne.

Jeanne: I gotta surprise for you tmrw

Gabriel: What is it.

Jeanne: Im not gonna tell u stupid just warning you now

Gabriel: We'll see then. Gn.

Jeanne: Gn.

He puts his phone down and quickly falls asleep.
