Chapter 33: Manato

Manato stares down WH1T3.

WH1T3: Probably should've expected this, seeing as I was controlling the soul of Yuuto, not the body as a whole. Though I didn't think one of you could forcibly switch yourself in, especially not a monster like you.

Manato swing his staff infront of him and shoots a slash of blood at WH1T3. The robot shoots a beam out of her hand and disintegrates the attack.

WH1T3: I heard you were the strongest of the 4 personalities, show me that spectacle!

Manato starts slowly walking towards WH1T3. She shoots beams at him but he dodges every single one without effort.

WH1T3: How about this, I had GR33N give me some puppets for personal use. Come on out my lovely toys!

Two pellets are shot from her fingertips at two slouched over B.0.T.s which start to awaken. These B.0.T.s, unlike the usual ones, as simply husk for WH1T3 to control. The two B.0.T.s shoot beams towards Manato but again he dodges it without breaking a sweat. He swing his staff and creates a spear of blood to stab through one of the B.0.T.s and creates a pool of blood under the other. He continues to slowly walk toward WH1T3 without saying a word.

WH1T3: Not much of a talker are you? That's not really good for keeping the attention of the audience so I'll get rid of you right now so I can go back to the better guest Gabriel. Puppet Carver!

She takes two robots and mashes them together and crushes them into the shape of a club. She swings the club at Manato but he grabs it and crushes it with one hand. He continues to slowly walk toward WH1T3 without saying a word.

WH1T3: Okay, though you forgot my Secret Soul is still active!

She forces Gabriel to attack Manato but Manato grabs Gabriel by his neck and throws him away. He finally reaches WH1T3.

Manato: ...

WH1T3: I guess it's safe to assume this show is over, isn't it?

Manato grabs WH1T3 by her head and begins crushing the B.0.T.

WH1T3: Pili, Bes, I'll see you soon.

Her head is smashed into nothing, WH1T3 lifeless body falling on the ground.

Gabriel: ...

Manato: You, boy.

Gabriel: Y-Yeah?

Manato: Don't let something like this happen again or I promise I'll kill you too.

Manato switches back to Yuuto.

Yuuto: That went a lot better than how I expected. I was scared he was going to kill you too.

Gabriel: Same, but we can discuss your business later, right now let's just grab Ali's soul.

He cuts open the orb and pulls out the glowing blue ball that is Ali's soul. When he removes the ball from its containment, the building begins to crumble around the two of them.

Yuuto: Let's run before we're crushed, quick!

Yuuto let's Keito take control of the body and they run out as fast as possible, Gabriel flying out as fast as possible. They barely make it out alive along with some of the other confused contestants.

Gabriel: So now what?

Keito: Give about 3, 2, 1,

The two of them fall asleep and soon wake up in front of the Marseille Tournament.
