Chapter 19 - Outcome of the Client Meeting

At the meeting's conclusion, all parties were pleased with the outcome.

Ryan was first pressed to obtain the novel's rights to film the film.

But, given that Aria was the novel's actual translator. That gave Ryan confidence that Aria was well-versed in the novel.

Aria was only Malcolm's temporary assistant. Because his regular aide was out sick.

As a result, he asks Aria to serve as his assistant until the true assist is cured.

However, Aria and Malcolm are already acquainted as a result of previous collaboration and the referral of other Aria clients.

He did make a plan to see Aria in the future. He had been quite busy recently and had no time to meet with her.

It was a business meeting, not a date, but it was enough for him to meet Aria.

As a result, Ryan devised a new strategy to find an excuse to meet her most of the time.

"This is excellent. In the future, I'd like to work on additional projects with Aria. "I'll ask my secretary about a new project we're planning for this year," Ryan thought to himself, a nice smile on his face.

He instructed his driver to transport him to the next meeting he needed to attend.

His driver was surprised to see his boss, who had been sighing for some reason for the previous three days.

He was already wealthy and content with his life.

He simply enjoys having people read his works. He finds that his grandchildren prefer to read comic books to novels.

He intends to ask Aria for photos of her family and herself as a reference.

But he was thinking about how he could ask her, without being too obvious, who inspired the main character in his story.

Because he intends to write a tragic novel. He doesn't want anyone to know.

Others were furious when they discovered he had written a terrible story about his pals who were blissfully married.

Because of it, his buddies almost severed their friendship with him. Because his friend's wife almost divorced him because she thought it was a true event from the novel.

The story revolved around a failing marriage. The husband was a jerk who cheated on his wife.

From then on, he was cautious about revealing the person who inspired his story if it was a tragic novel.

He didn't know if Aria was aware of it or if she would encourage him and offer further assistance to make the writing process go more smoothly.

The fact that Aria showed her one of his works influenced the character in his previous novel as well as the character in his grandfather's story.

He believes his novel comic adaption will be fantastic in Aria's hands.

So what he needed right now was to finish the novel.

Aria, on the other hand, was relieved to have a new project to work on.

She is aware that Malcolm will give her complete authority over the comic version of Malcolm's future novel.

She like Malcolm's novels. She enjoys the tone of Malcolm's novels.

Malcolm's novels have both joyful and terrible endings.

She also enjoys the fact that she will be engaged in the film adaptation of the novel she is translating.

She was thrilled to see it bring the novel's characters to life.

She was so excited about the new project that she forgot she was attempting to avoid Ryan.
