Elemental Crystals

Shura and Mina returned to their house. Fortunately, it wasn't broken. However, many buildings in their area were destroyed.

"Don't you want to take that potion?" Mina asked while helping him sit on a sofa.

"I want to save it for later." Originally, Shura didn't have a lot of trouble but he didn't expect the day he would come to this city, it would be invaded by those monsters.

Mina also agreed with his idea. Although he was full of wounds and blood, he could still recover without any Mana Potion.

And, he could use it in a situation where he had no choice to use it.

"By the way, why is your swordsmanship so strong? Your mana level is really low." Mina asked. In fact, she also noticed it before but she didn't say anything.

But now, that they had gone through such an experience, she was becoming a bit more frank with him.

"Because I trained my swordsmanship for years. As you said, my mana level is low. So, I can only rely on my swordsmanship." Shura said while resting his head on the sofa.

"Then, do you really need to train your swordsmanship so much? You could've totally avoided this battle." Mina asked. In fact, she didn't understand why would he help her.

After all, they have only met this morning. Since his mana level is so low, there is no need to train so hard.

She could easily understand just how hard he would need to train to become stronger in his swordsmanship.

"Because my gramps told me to live my life with freedom. Unfortunately, if you are weak, you can't have the freedom." Shura said while revealing a long-lost smile on his face.

"Freedom?" Mina heard that word and her expression became complicated. But she quickly changed her expression and said.

"So, what now? Do you want me to help you clean?"

When she said that, she showed a cunning expression.

"No need, I can do it by myself."

Shura shook his head and rested on that sofa for a moment. After a while, he finally walked into his room while Mina went upstairs.

He took a bath and finally took out some medicines.

These medicines were herbal paste made by his grandfather. They were quite scary as it would make him feel an intense pain after using it.

But it was very effective as it could instantly heal his injuries. This paste was something he used all the time during his training.

So, he rubbed the paste all around his body and bandaged himself.

After a while, he decided to cook some food. He made Butter Chicken and some rice.

The smell of the Butter Chicken reached the upstairs and Mina came running down.

"What did you cook? It smells so great." Mina quickly sat on the dinner table while asking for the food.

Shura brought the food to the help and served it on the plate. After that, they started eating the food.

"So Shura, do you want to enter the Sanctuary any time soon?" Mina asked.

Shura nodded his head and said.

"Tomorrow, I will start from Lv.1 Sanctuary." Shura nodded his head.

"What? Do you need to start from Lv.1? You killed a Three Stars Hell Creature that lives inside the Lv.9 Sanctuary. Why would you need to start from the bottom?" Mina looked at him in confusion and asked.

"Because I need some experience. Although I have trained for a long time, I don't have a lot of experience with Sanctuary. So, I need to start from the lowest level."

"Besides with my Mana Level, even Lv.1 Sanctuary would be hard if I don't use my swordsmanship." Shura said.

Hearing his words, Mina found that it really made sense. His mana level was extremely low so he couldn't possibly keep using external means to fight.

So, he could grow stronger by completing the lower levels of Sanctuaries.

"Well, if that's the case then we won't be able to enter Sanctuary together. I am planning to start from Lv.5. By the way, if you gain any Wind Elemental Crystals inside, can you exchange them with me?"

"I can even buy them from you." Mina said.

"Elemental Crystals, you say? I can do it but I also need Elemental Crystals. But, can I possibly get the Elemental Crystals from the Lv.1 Sanctuary?" Shura asked.

"Of course, you can. Although the amount might not be enough, you will definitely get at least one or two elemental crystals from a horde of the monsters inside those Sanctuaries." Mind nodded her head and explained.

Shura fell into contemplation.

Naturally, he hadn't thought much about Elemental Crystals except for one thing that he wanted to experiment with. Since people can get more than one element from Elemental Crystals, can he use his system to help it grow?

He wasn't sure but he wanted to test it. So, if he could truly get an Elemental Crystal, he would definitely use it to awaken a new element.

"By the way, which element do you want to use? I saw that you were proficient in all three kinds of elements with your swordsmanship." Mina couldn't help but show a look of envy.

Although her wind control was better, her strikes weren't as strong as his. If it wasn't for his lack of mana, he might have been an even better Wind Magic user than her.

"I am not sure right now. But, I do like these three elements the most. Wind gives me swiftness and sharpness. Lightning gives me speed and destruction. Fire gives me power."

Shura said with some thoughts of his own.

"But, you shouldn't choose more than one or two. The more magic you try to master, the harder it gets. At best, you should only try to master two elements since it would be much better."

"Of course, once you reach a higher rank, it would be normal for you to have more than two elements." Mina immediately reminded him.

"I know. If I have to choose between these three, I will choose lightning for now." Shura answered.

"To be fair, you should choose your own element. You haven't awakened your Magic Power, right? Once you increase your mana level, you should be able to awaken your Magic."

"Once you do, you should concentrate on developing your original magic. Since it is not only easier to master but also easy to develop at a faster pace than the secondary magic."

Mina suggested.

Shura nodded and said.

"I will definitely focus on my Primary Magic. But, I have the feeling that lightning or any other element doesn't belong to my magic. So, if I get the Elemental Crystals, I will start with lightning elemental crystals."

"If I can't get that, I will choose Wind and if I can't get that, I will choose fire. But, my main option is still lightning."

In fact, if he could improve his elements magic with Growth System, he would definitely choose all three of them.

Hearing his choices, Mina understood his reasoning but she still felt that Shura was a bit too arrogant.

After all, it was already amazing for a person to master one magic. They are trying to learn more than one not only requires elemental crystals but also a lot of experience.

And, most of these experiences come from the battle. Whenever the enemy uses a certain element, you have to figure out the way to defeat it. So, people tend to understand the core factor of elements during the battle.

Of course, it's not just enemies who understand the element but also themselves. Only through sheer improvement during the battle, one can actually make progress.

What she didn't know was the growth system that Shura possessed. This system could allow him to improve his magic without putting too much effort.

But, he still can't reveal anything about the system.

"Alright then, are you going to your room to heal or do you want to go out?" Mina asked while examining his situation.

Shura wasn't healed but it wasn't like he couldn't move. Now that the city was invaded by those Hell Creatures, going out would be a better choice.

Otherwise, the monster suddenly attacks their house and they would be left unprepared to face those monsters.

"Actually, there is no need to worry. Even though the monsters could destroy the house when we are unprepared, I can still sense them as long as they are nearby."

Shura didn't have this ability before but when he improved his Swordsmanship, his instinct also grew.

This was one of the reasons why he was able to enter 'Zone' so easily. Currently, his instinct was like a wild beast. He could sense any threat as long as he wasn't disturbed.

Although Mina only knew him for a day, she couldn't help but trust him.
