"Is everything okay?" Claire asked, her voice laced with worry. She almost reached out to hug Talon, but suddenly remembered the presence of others around them. Her cheeks flushed red, betraying her embarrassment.
Crystal, ever the playful one, smirked and teased, "If you want to hug him, just hug him, Claire. No need to be shy."
Claire shot a bashful look at Crystal before a soft smile spread across her face. "Ah, no, no. That's not what I meant."
The tension in her shoulders eased, though her concern hadn't entirely faded.
