Chapter 1: I Got A Girlfriend?!

At 1:35 AM, I found myself standing on Sakura Bridge, in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, Japan. Leaning my arm back on the bridge, I felt a slight soreness in my muscles, but it was bearable. The scenery around me was breathtakingly beautiful.

As I gazed out at the twinkling stars, I couldn't help but think, "This is the epitome of cliché."

I let out a sigh, realizing that I had just transmigrated into Yuuto Kiba's body in the DxD universe. Although this body was undoubtedly stronger than my original body, it felt strange to inhabit someone else's body.

In a moment of spontaneity, I decided to test out my newfound strength by attempting 1,000 push-ups in a row. Placing both hands on the ground, I got into the push-up position and began to count.

"1," I said, and continued counting until I reached 1,000. Surprisingly, it was easier than I had anticipated.

As I stood up, I leaned my arm once again on the bridge, taking in the beautiful surroundings. No one knew that I was there, as I had teleported to that place on a whim, driven by a long-held desire to experience it firsthand.

However, I couldn't help but notice the presence of 10 Shinto followers, 5 on my right and 5 on my left. These guys seemed ready to go at it.

"Devil, what are you doing?!" One of them said, his voice full of menace.

"I'm just sightseeing. If you don't want me here, I can leave," I replied politely.

Their faces became confused when I said that.

"Wait, what?"

"Just like I said, I will leave."

For a few seconds, they lowered their guards, before tensing up their bodies to fight.

"Fine, I will leave," I said, seeing no point in arguing.

As I heard one of them mutter "Is that easy?" I snapped my fingers, creating a magic circle beneath me, and before I teleported away, I said to them, "Keep protecting this place. I like the area." I smiled at them before vanishing from that place. The encounter had drained some of my Demonic Power reserves, but not too much.

Kuoh Town, Japan,

In some alleyways,

"Damn, those guys are very tense about me being here. I wish they would relax a bit. I'm only here for a few minutes. At least let me stay for 10 more minutes."

"This alleyway smells horrible."

I left the alleyway only to be hit by a purple light on a signboard that said "Love Hotel".

"Let's find a resting spot to relax," I thought to myself.

As I kept walking, I saw so many scantily-clad women at the side of the road calling out to the few men that were on the road. I wondered where their modesty had gone, but it's not like I could do anything to stop them from "working". Suddenly, one of the women grabbed my hand and tried to seduce me.

"Handsome, where are you going? Why don't you take me with you?" she said.

"Hahaha, to Hell. Are you sure you want to follow?" I replied with a small smile.

"Of course, handsome," she said, getting a little too close for my comfort.

I used my Demonic Power to change my appearance, disfiguring my face so much that she was shocked and terrified. She took a step back, but as soon as I took a step forward, she fell to the floor in terror.

I knelt down and asked her with a smile, "Are you okay?"

She hurriedly ran away from me, yelling out, "A Devil!"

Everyone who saw the scene whispered something along the lines of "She's crazy," "What a waste," "Stupid," "He's very handsome, is she that stupid to let that man go?" and "How dare she ridicule that handsome man." But it wasn't my business.

As I kept walking, I saw a familiar bench from one of the romantic comedy anime that was known for causing misfortune. I decided to sit there and see if anything happened, but nothing did. Maybe it was because I didn't have a woman that I wanted to date.

In this life or the next, no matter what, I'm still single, and there is no way Akeno or Koneko would want to date me.

"I wish I had a girlfriend," I said aloud.

But I can only wish because I have no experience in dating. All my life I have been a virgin, which sadly is true, and my friends did try to pay for a prostitute, but there is no way I'm losing my virginity to a sex worker or whatever it's called nowadays.

"I can be your girlfriend, Yuuto-kun," I heard Akeno's voice say.

I was surprised and felt my senses flare up as she entered my range of attack. I had made it for future enemies who might try to sneak attack me. It was Observation Haki, but without the future sight and emotion detector. Maybe it didn't sense her as a threat.

As I looked to my left, I saw Akeno smiling at me with her eyes closed and her breasts resting on the head of the bench. They were very large for her age.

"Where did you go, Yuuto-kun?" she asked while tilting her head.

"To Sakura Bridge in Tokyo. I wanted to see the beautiful scenery. Is that bad for me to go sightseeing?" I replied.

"Not really, but next time, tell us, okay?" she said.

"Okay," I agreed.

"Back to what I said earlier, I can be your girlfriend if you want me to," Akeno said playfully.

I didn't know how to respond. I was blanking out. Anime didn't teach me how to talk to girls. I wished I had read some romance anime or played some dating sim.

Suddenly, she grabbed my cheeks and pulled them close to her face, staring straight into my eyes. "Ara ara, you're very nervous and uncomfortable, Ufufu~. I never thought I would see this reaction from you, Yuuto-kun," she said.

My heart was beating faster than usual, but I couldn't deny that she was very beautiful. Her Fallen Angel blood must have made her very attractive plus her seductive body. If she was in my previous world, she will be crowned as the most beautiful woman.

"Let's go for a test drive shall we, from now on you are my boyfriend and I am your girlfriend. If it doesn't work then we can return to our normal relationship. How about that, Yuuto-kun?"

Na-ah, there is no way I'm letting this chance go away.

"I accept," I said while staring straight into her eyes with confidence.
