Since the ball bounce low, Aki is forced to the net returning a weak ball, seeing that he hits a powered flat shot to her left making him score.

"40-30"

Serving the ball inside Aki manage to return it to the center mark with Soji aiming towards Aki's right-side corner with her returning it with a lob.

Seeing that Aki is in the back Soji aims for the server box on Aki's right side with her running toward it and managing to return it.

Chapter 7

So Soji aims at her right side again with her backing up and safely returning it.

Soji moves up to volley and sends the ball down the line on her left with her successfully returning it but it is so close to Soji so he ends it with a cross-shot to the left side service box.

"Game"

They both go to the side to take a break.

"If Aki doesn't try to deal with this soon she will be exhausted." Uchika thought as she sees her really sweating and focusing too much wiping her arm.

Getting back to the court after switching sides it is now Aki's turn to serve.

"2-1" Uchika announced before the match start

Just like her previous service game, Aki manages to hit the balls low and unlike the first one she is now moving up the net making Soji try riskier shots.

With Soji's mistakes and Aki's beautiful shot placements, she manages to keep her serve game.

Now that it is Soji's turn to serve Aki persists with her offense by doing a chip and charge while also hitting drop shots and lob when she sees fit managing to break Soji's service game.

After a short break, they once again switched sides.

"2-3"

Aki starts off her service game as Soji is finding a way to take a break.

But with him getting impatient Aki manages to make him commit more errors thus keeping her service game.

"Game. 2-4"

"I should probably go for more power but riskier shots if I want to keep my game." Thought Soji.

Now that it is now his service game Soji hits the ball wide so Aki has to run for the ball right now Soji still keeps his strategy of only hitting cross shots to make Aki run.

But Aki manages to see his pattern and starts to make a move before he hits the ball while not making it obvious.

As she now has more time to cleanly hit the ball to her desired spot she tried to do another chip and charge but with Soji hitting the ball harder, she cants place her shots well.

With Aki's hand hurting from the abuse Soji manage to successfully do a passing shot.

"15-love"

He keeps using this strategy while Aki learns to not do a chip and charge now that SOji is using more power.

So although she takes her shots near the serving line without crossing it Soji is also positioned like her to not get surprised by drop shot.

But because of the shorter distance, Aki cannot successfully mitigate Soji's shots and he manages to score again.

"30-love"

After serving the same rally playouts with them getting back to their previous positions.

Since Aki is getting used to his tactic and with the shorter distance between them Soji tried to do a consecutive down the line shots successfully making the score.

"40-Love"

Hitting the serve wide again Soji tries to just hit under the baseline and try to use his old tactic of cross shots, successfully scoring with it as Aki is running out of gas.

"Game. 3-4"
