Prologue

The rain was pouring. All that was left was the aftermath of the funeral. The loose rose petals, the steel chairs and the sound of the rain hitting the roof of the umbrella. The smell of rain and freshly cut grass covered the whole area

Jesse walked to the front, a rose in one hand and a ring on the other. Slowly, he wiped the water off the chair and sat down.

"Hey An," He said and looked down as tears started streaming down his cheeks, "your ceremony was beautiful." He said and looked down at the pair of ring on his palm. One with a circle and a hollowed space in the middle and the other that fits onto the hollowed space like a puzzle. "One more week and you would've made me the happiest man alive."

"I promise you that I won't try to explain what I did because there's no excuse for what I've done." He said choking on his words as he struggled to get them out. He sat there as he sobbed.
