The Training P3

When I awoke it was morning. I opened my eyes slowly, seeing two people standing by my bedside. I sat up slowly, feeling a pounding in my head. One man came closer to me. As he came closer I recognised that it was El Entrenador.

"Aliera, we will be starting the physical part of your training. Here is some pain medicine for your head, and some breakfast to start your day. After you are done meet us on the battlefield. Your compañero de lucha will wait for you," he said handing me the medicine and food, then heading out. I took the pain medicine and ate. Once I was finished the compañero de lucha lead me to the battle field.

"good, you're here. Today we will be working on your fighting skills. First will be without the sward. Andre will be your fighting partner," he said as we made it towards him. I looked at Andre one good time. He was an exact image of the chinese fighters on the tv. He had hair to his shoulders that was parted in the middle. His jaw was perfectly cut and his skin tone was a golden brown. Andre was the exact image of a warrior. We both made it towards the middle of the field. There was a loud bell like sound that told us the fight started. I knew what I was doing in this category because I took karate back home. The fight went on what felt like forever. We each would get a few hits in the fight, but I could withstand a large amount of pain. After a long and hard fight, Andre finally tapped out. We both looked at El Entrenador to get the next set of instructions.

"I'm impressed Aliera. You're very good with your hands I must say. Let's see if you are just as good with your sword," El Entrenador said with a smile. He threw a sword my way and one Andre's way. We both caught the sword upright with no problem. There was the bell again, then we both started to fight. You could hear the clanking of our swards from miles away if you just listened closely.

Without noticing I felt a slash on my arm. " Follow my sword, not me," Andre said with a focused face. I listened to what he said and it worked. We fought for a while, so long that my arms had gotten weak. I tapped out this time because we never went this long in fencing classes back home. We took breaks and trained some more. After a while my arms had gotten stronger and my fighting skills grew too. When we were done El Entrenador brought in some soldiers that fought with me. Once I took them down we went to eat. The food was good. El Entrenador made a toast before we started to eat.

"Dear fighters for the Inbetween There are two ways we can look at this meal. One way is la última cena or la comida de la victoria. You choose which is best. Will we go down with or without a fight? Now, let's eat then fight later!" Everyone screamed in justice as to say that we will not fail in our mission to get back our rightful place. After the feast we all went to rest before the day of the war.
