Avina was at peace a little more hearing her words. "Thanks."
"You wait here, I'm going to check on your sister," Mother Qin said. "She's oddly silent."
Avina nodded. During the time when she was stuck at home, her only entertainment was Qin Meirong. Someway, somehow, she managed to turn the entire house upside down.
"Don't run away," Mother Qin warned. "I have guards watching over you so it's useless."
"I wasn't even thinking about it," Avina pouted.
Mother Qin gave her a distrustful look. "Whatever you say."
When Mother Qin was gone, it was truly boring. Avina laid down and watched the clear sky.
Out of boredom, she started humming a little tune.
"I didn't know you could sing," an unfamiliar voice said.
Avina sat up and turned around, spotting the slender lady at the door. "Xin Wenrou?"
Xin Wenrou bowed as a small greeting before walking in. "It seems you've been in great health."
