Chapter 15 Tower

She whirled around to his relieve. But her expression was that of ' What! '

" If I had a beautiful wife like yourself, I wouldn't dare lay my hands on her!" He shouted to her hearing. When She didn't move he took the opportunity to walk close to her where he now stood proudly in front of Olivia. Hesitantly he brought his hand to her messy hair to keep them in order where some stuck to her forehead while the back hair substituted with the ones supposed to be in the front.

" I can do it myself--"

" No, please let me. " He ended up dressing back her hair to what it once was where his eyes didn't leave hers. " I think I support you scaring him away whenever he try touching you. " He scrunched his face in distaste. " He doesn't deserve you lady Olivia. " His hand ran slowly in her face where he tucked the strand of hair back to her ear.

Olivia stepped back, she creased her brows at him. " I told you not to bother about George and I. " Dylan raised his hand in surrender. " I won't. " Olivia bowed her head before walking away. What a stubborn woman she was declining his great offer. ' Oh Olivia just how I wish I can take that man away from you. '

He stepped out of the garden afterwards. " Duke Dylan what did she say. " George asked.

" Did you put her in the confinement room. " He said. The magistrate began to stutter while having sweat drip down his face.

" It was a part of the punishment I gave her. " He was shocked to hear Olivia reported him.

" I can't believe you are this low minded George, now I regret having my sister marry you. Should I rectify it. " The magistrate shook his head at the thought. " I.. I. I. I. --"

" Stop this now dear magistrate, you and I know we'll you don't love Delilah. " He waved his hand as if dismissing the topic. " Hit your fifth wife anymore and I will have her divorce you and reports you for woman assault. " George eyes widened at the thought. He wanted to throw remarks and scream out his lungs at the Duke but he was helpless. The thought of Olivia divorcing him doesn't suit well. "I won't interfere with you family matter not when rules are being broken in your home. Hitting a woman is a crime and as far I am under this roof I don't want to see that. " The conversation between them trailed away.

The magistrate had suggested they both go outside with some of his soldiers. The magistrate house wasn't safe, he found a place but far away from Amazon town where beast were less there. But he wanted to check the road while also getting another vampire for the magistrate. They would be leaving the mansion in a week time.

Olivia remained unfed. She stayed on her room unable to move around.

" Come in! " She said to the door. Luna walked in with a trolley of food. " Lady Olivia, Duke Dylan said I should have you eat this. He said it would be nice if the magistrate doesn't hear about it. " Olivia was famished so she jumped on the food without waiting, just when she was almost done she saw a paper lying on the tray. She picked it up piqued. It reads.

Lady Olivia I heard there is a tower outside the manor, you didn't get to show me there. Can we meet there by 7: p. m. Send me back a letter if you are going to come.

When Olivia was done eating she thought about it before getting a quill and an ink. Thinking about George starving her and him serving her meal made her sadness turned grateful. At least she needed to thank him.

Duke Dylan, I appreciate the food. Thank you. Since you want me to show you round the tower I will come right at seven.

She gave it to Luna to help her deliver it to Dylan. He was glad to hear she agreed, he just couldn't wait for it to strike seven.

During the evening when the clouds tried to come together, trying to close the sunlight. Dylan kept checking his watch. Seeing it was seven o'clock already, he went to look at his reflection in the mirror. He knotted his tie well. His eyes fell on his black suit. She would question him if he sees him this early. He should perhaps wait a minute. He took out the rose flower he had ordered. Dylan put it close to his nose to perceive it's nice fragrance. Just that moment two petals fell from the rose flower. He cursed on his breath. " How dare he sell me fake flowers. Goodness I still have this one. " He kept the rose flower, taking the lily flower for a substitute.

Olivia went to submerge herself in the bath. Her evening bath. Luna wasn't there to help her and she ended up sleeping in the bathtub. Around 8: 45, Olivia woke up. She poured the water on her body before taking her bath not minding it was cold. Stepping out of the bathtub she dried her body, using the towel to tie around her chest. Luna came in with a knock and helped her into a dress. A long milky coloured evening dress. It was a soft dress which was floral from the waist. Her neckline were V-neck, where it hung beside her two shoulders and not on top. She didn't want to stress her self by going to the tower when she knew well, Dylan must have left after having to wait long for her.
