Dead Man Walking

Elizabeth Woodville, The Queen Of England:

I was getting ready to make it to the city, just like Edward had asked me to. I no longer felt safe in these castles walls. I no longer felt safe anywhere.

Warwick could rain hell on us at any minute. The thought of anything happening to Edward, My father or brothers makes me sick to my stomach.

I have my mother to comfort me but it does not help. I am never going to forgive Warwick if any one of them dies. I do not care if he succeeds at King-making one more time. He will be a dead man walking, and I'll make sure of it.

Writer:

Edward stood in the rain, preparing for battle. Only this time it seemed stranger, all of his battles were fought with Warwick beside him, but now it his very first battle alone.

"Your Grace." The man made Edward turn his head around, wondering what was so important.

Elizabeth Woodville, The Queen Of England:

Everyone brought their own courtesy into my view. I sat on my throne, and with this crown on my head, It means nothing. I am Queen in name, and in view. When my husband is King I am Queen. When my husband is a Soldier, I am still a Queen.

I eyed every person who came into my eyesight. I glued my eyes on someone I found interesting. My eyes spoke for themselves. I did not want to be here, I was very king. But I could be evil and cold if I wanted to be.

Anne Neville:

Me and Isabel waited nervously in our dormitory. We couldn't possibly imagine what is to come in a few moments. My father was at battle with Edward's men.

If something were to happen to my Father, what would happen to us. Issy had George, but me and my mother had no one else but each other. What could we possibly do, It wasn't easy to survive when your father was hated by the King and his court.

I couldn't possibly imagine Forgiveness. I mean my father went behind Edward's back and married Isabel and George. Now he raise him army against King Edward, and is telling people to turn their back's on King Edward, and follow him instead.

Forgiveness is not an option in this situation anymore.

Writer:

Warwick was riding side to side with Richard. They were ready to attack Edward and claim the throne. They were out for power, and they didn't mind if blood had to be shed along the way.

They didn't think Edward could fight off their Army, and if he did there would be major consequences, but right now that didn't seem to matter. Because Warwick was positive he was going to win.

He never fails at King-making, one more wouldn't hurt.

Elizabeth Woodville, The Queen Of England:

I walked to my room, I was ready to get all this Jewlery off of me, and this cape. I feel absolutely exhasuted but I can't even think of going to sleep with the thought of Edward still out there.

My children are all to stay with me, incase they decide to attack the castle, my biggest priority right now is to take care of 5 little babies.

Richard and Thomas are my protection right now, but I do not wish to use them. They are to help me take care and protect their 3 little sisters.

Writer:

Edward was starting to worry about Warwick attacking. There had still been no word, but he was grateful to his father and brothers in law because at least they had not betrayed him.

"Still no word?" Edward was starting to grow impatient. But Elizabeth's Father responds with news, "Warwick's got past our look-out. His army's coming to beseige us. Ride to the protection of London. Go Edward! We'll stay and hold him off!"

Edward didn't want to leave his army, but he also knew he had children waiting at home, and the heartbreak of him not returning would endanger them.

So he rode back to London, giving god his prayers that not one of his family got hurt. At least not his family in law.
