1 PM: the ark.

"HQ is calling us in?" rapi said in surprise as Anis noticed as well which caused the commander to respond.

"Well rapi and Anis, you two will be going with me." he said with a smile as Anis responded, "Aw man... not this again."

"What?" rapi responded to Anis's complaint, "So few of you, and yet you managed to take down a blacksmith! simply astonishing!"

"Keep fighting the good fight, my loyal and most subservient of all government lapdogs!" said Anis who was repeating what Andersen had said every time they were called into HQ before finishing it off with, "It's always the same old routine."

"Well, we did perform exceptionally well during this last mission, which came at a cost." rapi said as Nova nodded knowing that he would have to bring it up to HQ.

"Okay then rapi, let's get this over with, the sooner we can go, the sooner we can leave, cause I want to see if the commander is going to use one of us for sex." anis smirked at the commander who was keeping a straight face and was uncomfortable by her comment.

"W-Well they did ask for you two both to be armed when we arrive." Nova said as he kept a straight face and smiled.

"..." was all Rapi could say while Anis looked at Nova after hearing this, "Really? what an odd request."

2 PM: Andersen office.

"the radio began to play in the background as Andersen started vibing to the Rise of the Monarch album by Amalee, the track that was playing on the radio was Villain Vibes feat Mori Calliope as he drank his coffee.

*NOCK NOCK.*

"Come in." Andersen said as he grabbed the remote and pressed pause just in time for Mori's part to end as Nova and the others entered the room, "ah! So nice to meet you all, I'm Andersen, deputy chief of the central government command." he said as he introduced himself while setting the remote down and continued.

"we can dispense with the formalities. address me however you wish." he asked as Commander Nova Cypher thought of the two names that came to mind.

"Okay, lord Andersen." Commander Nova Cypher said as both Rapi and Anis looked at him in confusion while Andersen looked at him with a look of disapproval on his face.

"Am I a joke to you?" he asked as Commander Nova Cypher gave him a no in response, "well then, like nails on a chalkboard. Andersen will do just fine." he said as he started to get onto the topic at hand.

"I called you in today because i wanted to conduct a little test." he asked as he wanted to see who would be involved, "nothing too difficult. you can relax."

As Commander Nova Cypher started to hear what was said, he decided to speak up.

Commander Nova Cypher: "A test?"

Andersen: "Yes Commander Nova Cypher, a test, from here, go straight to the simulation room, and once you are there, there will be someone there to fill you in, that is all I have to say."

After hearing the directions that were given to us, Anis started to speak up in response, "um... you called us here just for that?" she said in question as Rapi spoke.

Rapi: "Anis."

Anis: "What I'm just asking."

Andersen smiled as he turned to Commander Nova Cypher, "I simply wanted to meet you three in person, no other reason." he said as Anis made no response before continuing, "i believe we're done here" he finished as Commander Nova Cypher began to ask a question.

"May I ask you a question?" Nova asked as Andersen nodded, "one moment." as told Commander Nova Cypher as he said that when he looked at his wristwatch for a second and nodded with a smile.

"well Commander Nova Cypher, I suppose I have time to answer one question, just one, so ask away." he said.

Commander Nova Cypher knew what question he wanted to ask as THAT question was the only one he had in mind, he started taking a deep breath and asked the question "Well okay, Marian seems to have been corrupted while she was connected and was still inside the ark, do you know anything about that?" he asked as Andersen knew what this was about and what this was in reference to as Anis and Rapi took notice.

"Commander Nova Cypher! You do realize that This is not the place to be asking such questions!" Anis asked in protest as Andersen started to ask Commander Nova Cypher that question.

andersen: "Marian? doesn't ring a bell... oh, OH yes, the other nikke who fought with you, right?"

Commander Nova Cypher: "Yeah."

Andersen: "Right, well I heard she was destroyed, and I am terribly sorry for your loss, so i'm afraid i have nothing for you Commander Nova Cypher, since we're now conducting an investigation into the operation/incident as we speak, and the only thing we ARE certain of, is that the aegis barriers are impenetrable, now, if you don't mind, I have other business to attend to."

And with that, the commander stood up and was ready to exit the room with the two others before Andersen stopped Commander Nova Cypher in the process, "Hey, you." he asked as Nova looked at him.

"Let's say someone did corrupt one of your nikkes, maliciously." Andersen asked Commander Nova Cypher as he had to hear what was said.

"let's say they were so powerful, that you wouldn't stand a chance against them." he continued as he said it in a foreshadowed warning.

"so tell me Commander Nova Cypher, what would you do in this situation?" he asked as the question was aimed at Cypher.

"I would ask them why so I can get the reason to understand why they did it." Commander Nova Cypher answered as he looked at Andersen who nodded, "Well, there must be a reason why, since this sounds like if there's a reasonable cause for what's been done, you'll just accept it, and well, I am not blaming you, Nova, because I'm just curious what you'll just say."

"you may leave now, I'm sure we will meet again." he said as the Commander started to nod and leave the room with Rapi and Anis, before he did that, he turned and said one last thing that made Andersen smile, "as we were approaching your office, I could hear Mori's verse behind the door."

Andersen: "Ah yes, thought I would be villain these vibes."

Rapi: "That is a horrible pun."

With a click, the door is closed.

Andersen: "... now where was I."
