"Sigh. That troublesome girl. She was supposed to be hereafter my classes ended."
"Why is she not here, then? Did she get into trouble?"
"Probably. She's a troublemaker through and through. She said she got in trouble for stealing pastries."
"...."
"...."
"We'll send people to look for her if you're overly worried."
"No need, saintess. She's fairly capable of defending herself." Anne sighed.
"That's right I am. I heard all your badmouthing about me just now. Hmmph! I never thought you would think of me as a troublemaker." Stella popped out of the corner.
"Stella! Finally! I was worried you ran off to cause some trouble again." Anne dashed towards Stella and hugged her.
"It's alright..... I did get into trouble. A 'big sister' took me away. But she just 'sternly reprimanded' me to not steal anything again." Stella chirped like a little girl as if she didn't just commit mass terrorism and 'controlled slaughter' in the Divine realm an hour ago.
"Hehe. She's quite the energetic kid, the exact opposite of you." Saintess Lavonne tried to pat Stella's head but she moved away.
Anne came close to the saintess Lavonne and whispered into her ear, "Saintess, she doesn't like it when someone calls her a kid, or small."
"I see. I'm sorry, Stella. I didn't mean to upset you." The saintess apologized to Stella.
".....Hmm. It's alright." Stella gave a short reply as she pulled up her information again.

Saintess Lavonne was quite powerful, considering she was a normal human being. Her abilities and skillsets were top-notch, as well as versatile.
And it was obvious, considering her abilities, that she was a higher-up of the Church. However, her true position was quite intriguing. But Stella had no interest in making things complicated further than what it is now.
What piqued Stella's interest, however, was her intent. 'She considers me family? Anne probably told her a bit too much about me while I was gone.'
Stella didn't access their memories yet. However, she was quite sure she would do that fairly soon.
"Stella, why don't you come to my house for a visit? I can bake a lot of cakes and pastries." Saintess Lavonne started coaxing her.
"No need, saintess. You don't have to put in so much effort for me." Stella shook her head.
"I...see. That's unfortunate." The saintess was quite disappointed by her reply.
"But, you can teach me how to cook together with Anne." Stella smiled.
"Ah! That's wonderful. I'll come to Anne's house every day from now on." Saintess Lavonne perked up hearing Stella's suggestion. But Anne became quite flustered.
"And Stella..."
"Hmm?"
"Make sure to whip up Anne to a proper state. I know you can do it. She's 17 but already acts like an old hag. It's unbearable to watch. And she told me about your unfortunate circumstances, so I got you a free permit to study here. Don't worry about money. I'll give you a salary out of my pocket." The saintess kept blurting out some serious words one after another.
"What unfortunate circumstances?" Stella raised her eyebrow as she glared at Anne.
Anne became even more flustered. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to give away information you were uncomfortable sharing." She lowered her head.
"Sigh. Whatever she told you, it's all made up by her pessimistic mind. I just don't have any relatives or a home. That's all there is to it." Stella cleared up the situation.
"See, you are already done with her pessimistic world views. Your job is to kick her head until she feels otherwise. And your salary will be the same as hers. " Saintess Lavonne said with a smile as she looked at Stella.
Stella nodded. Both of them had a tacit agreement.
"You two! You just met each other! Why are you ganging up on me?! Saintess Lavonne, am I not your favorite anymore?" Anne felt both of them were scheming against her.
"Well, of course.... you're no longer my favorite now that I've met Stella. I have a standing as a dignified young woman in society. Naturally, I cannot be seen hanging out with old hags like you." The saintess spewed venomous words that seemed to pierce Anne's heart.
"*Sob* *Sob* Both of you plotted against me, didn't you?" Anne was in tears.
The saintess chuckled. "It's alright Anne. You're still my favorite. I quite like that young lass's personality. So we tacitly agreed to tease you a bit." She consoled Anne as she hugged her.
"...Thank you." Anne felt relieved. The saintess was her main pillar of support. She couldn't bear to hear such things from her.
"And that's what you get for spouting nonsense behind my back." Stella shrugged.
"Alright, you two, stop bickering." Saintess Lavonne chided both of them like a mother. "Let's go inside now. Stella, let me show you around."
"Okay." Stella nodded. She didn't need someone to guide her around, as she knew every nook and cranny of this entire planet. But she was more than happy to accompany Anne and the saintess. After all, both of them loved her like a family....

"She finally accepted my powers as her own. It's quite surprising, I predicted she would take a bit longer." A voice of a child sounded out in the empty room.
A little girl, about 5 years old could be seen sitting on a majestic throne built with the pure essence of.... Destiny.
Her crimson-gold hair flowed freely, and her cosmic blue eyes showed a glimpse of terrifying power that could rip apart [All of Creation] in its entirety with just a swipe of her hand. She emitted a mischievous yet calm aura, making her personality feel contradictory and impossible to achieve.
'Ah... her actions are so unpredictable. What was she thinking? Granting someone a [Crest of Destiny] just as she activated my authority... I would like nothing more but to give her an earful. Alas, I cannot meet her.' She was lamenting in her mind with an unfocused gaze. But she knew her complaints were reaching the right place. It always did.
Suddenly, a faint silhouette appeared in front of her.
Looking at the person who arrived, she smiled, then got off her throne and knelt on the floor with her head lowered.
"You're always complaining, you know that? Sigh. Get up. I told you to stop kneeling whenever I visit?"
"But I cannot do that." She shook her head, still smiling.
"Sly as always. Fine. I won't mince any words. You have my permission to contact her. So, get up." The silhouette didn't get angry because of her simple tactic to gain this permission. It was evident that this was a fairly common occurrence.
The girl slowly got up and sat on her throne again. But she was in a jolly mood.
"Here, take these. Send one of them to her. You can contact her with this." The silhouette gave her two books.
The little girl looked inside the books and slowly broke out a mischievous grin. "Can I get a commission for each one? I rarely get them."
"Really? You plundered the other's share too. I think you're doing just fine. But yes, I will give you a commission for each one. So, stop harassing them."
The little girl nodded seriously. She perfectly knew when the person in front of her was serious. And during that time, she would listen to everything intently and execute it with utmost perfection. But for the rest of the time, she was doted on.
"Okay then. I'll leave now." The silhouette started to leave.
"Can't you stay a little longer?" The little girl asked with an expectant tone.
The silhouette turned around and smiled at her. "Not now. But, I'll come to visit you whenever you start lamenting about your life again."
Looking at that smile, she finally relaxed.
"I know you will." She teleported in front of the silhouette to hug that person.
"And, I'll really appreciate it if you stop showing me excessive respect. It's weird, even after so long." The silhouette patted her head.
"You know I'll never be able to do that. How many times will we have this conversation?" She giggled.
"As long as you keep doing this." The silhouette sighed. "Send the book to her at the proper time."
"Okay." She nodded her head and released the silhouette from her hug.
"Alright then. I'll go now." The silhouette slowly started to disappear.
The little girl respectfully kneeled on the floor again with a smile on her face. She felt happy, really really happy. 'Thank you for gracing me with your visit.... Creator.'
