Chapter 5: Evolution

Akuma's army advanced and pushed closer to the God's room but the women tried to keep them at bay with bows and arrows. The women were great shots and they killed some of the oni. The girl who was helping Kari earlier was hiding in her room and she saw his body motionless being trampled by Oni. She shouted "Mister Kari! Please wake up! Wake up!"

*In Kari's Mind*

Kari tried to stand up but his efforts were useless because he was floating in a infinite abyss. He cried out and twisted around. "Stop moving." He opened his eyes when he heard the voice. He saw a being made of pure light. The being appeared as a white sphere with a blue outline. "Who are you?" "The voice of the system of course." "Oh. Well why am I here!" "Your in the space between life and death. Your semi-dead. To the outside world. You seem dead while your soul remains intact." "Can I go back to the world of the living." "Yea I can do that." "Then do it." "To use the voice of the system. You need to achive total inner peace. You have a lot of inner conflict." "Damn it! I need to kill that Oni now!" "Then begin resolving your problems." Kari started thinking about his problems and as expected he had a lot of inner turmoil due to Kari wanting to dominate the whole mental area and a piece of Matigai left and trying to still remain. After a while the sphere lighted up bright. "Wait you achieved total peace." "No but me and Matigai agreed to disagree and I have more pressing matters."

*In the normal World*

As another of the oni stepped on Kari's body. It lost its leg and cried out. The army paused and looked back at Kari as he got up and had a high killing intent in his eyes. His eyes turned totally purple and a purple aura emanated from him. 'I've made a couple of skills in order to fully optimize your devine strength. First is God's wrathful punch.' Kari pulled back his right arm as made a fist. "God's wrathful punch!!" He threw a punch that sent a air with speeds up to 750 kilometers per hour. It vaporized most of the oni army. "Hehe! That was amazing!" 'Next one is Devine clap." Kari ran in the middle of the remaining oni as they charged. "Devine clap!" He clapped and the shockwave killed all the remaining oni. Kari picked up his sword and went to his room. He found the girl. "You ok?" "Yes I am." "Where's Akuma?" "Near the master's room!" Kari ran to the master's room. He saw Akuma devastating the women trying to protect the God. He jumped towards them and shouted "God's wrathful punch!" He punched Akuma's back, breaking some of his spine. Akuma got on his knees and Kari slide infron of the women. "Go! Get the old man out of here!" The women left. "I thought I killed you." "Well you thought wrong." Akuma got up and swung his axe at Kari who easily dodged and delivered a devastating kick to Akuma's jaw. The blow dropped him. "That's it." Kari turned his back and Akuma went for a sneak attack. 'Behind you! Jump and use God Slay." Akuma swung his axe and Kari dodged with a backflip before he landed the hit. "My turn! Final Attack! GOD SLAY!" Kari cut Akuma in half. The move killed Akuma as he smiled after. "I'm amazing."
